About Leucoma salicis in the Amur region and Primorye. Yes, it is there. And in our museum it is from these places. I myself collected both species of Leucoma together in the Daursky, Zeysky and Bolshekhekhtsirsky nature reserves. L. salicis flies earlier, in late June-July. L. candida flies later, flying from July to late August. Males are very well differentiated by their genitals, which can be seen even in live butterflies. They also differ quite well in the color of the scales on the antennae. In general, I first heard about the presence of L. salicis in the south of Primorye from Chistyakov in the mid-80s. But did anyone catch Leucoma candida west of Lake Baikal?

Selenitics, however, were infected with tachins. But recens successfully fed and hatched yesterday:

The latter butterfly is closest to the subspecies Arctornis l-nigrum okurai Okano, 1959, described from about.Taiwan. In mainland China (for example, Yunnan Province), l-nigrum also has a strongly enlarged dark spot.

This means that Orgyia (Clethrogyna) dubia (Tauscher, 1806)is present in this population Have you noticed pupation underground? As far as I know, usually pupation of this species occurs on a forage plant.

That's right, I'll try to find the video, I filmed it as it was.
Previously, I found cocoons in the city, under boards, slate and other construction junk lying on the ground.
