The species group "fidjiensis" includes three species that live on the islands of Fiji.
The most widespread species in the archipelago, Calliteara fidjiensis (Mabille & Vuillot , 1890), shows a certain diversity in the degree of development of the dark pattern on the forewings. Calliteara nandarivatu (Robinson, 1968)
The second species of the genus endemic to Fiji. It is well distinguished externally from the previous one, in particular, it is significantly smaller than C. fidjiensis in size.
