Great shot! The colors are very natural! It's probably hard to click them? In theory, calosomes should be quite nimble.

By the way, to the question of digital soap boxes and their use in macro.
The first one above (C. cancellatus) was made by Minolta Z2, not even Z5. If we are talking about photos for the Internet - everything turns out quite well, but, of course, not in auto smile.gifmodes .

And, of course, with more or less competent work with lightsmile.gif-bright sunlight will not work - excessive contrast "eats" the details, so the photo turns out to be "soapy".

I totally agree! smile.gif I also take pictures with digital cameras-Canon Powershot A620 and Powershot G9 (I'm just getting used to the latter) with Raynox, Marumi nozzles and a homemade diffuser. I'm too lazy to switch to digital mirrors yet smile.gif

Well, I'm not campaigning for a soap smile.gifdish, I'm talking about the fact that a soap dish, if it has the ability to shoot in manual modes, you can make decent pictures for the Internet. But he himself would not return to eek.gifthem now

DSLR and cheap, alas, does not work. Carcass + glass + light - a total of 40-50 thousand rubles. in the absolute minimum. Alas! But it's worth it. Although it's easier to shoot with a soap dish wink.gif
Yes, I forgot the tripod - plus 3-7 thousand rubles. smile.gif
And if you are serious, then all this can not be immediately and when you start shooting, you will forget about soap dishes! I collected my own kit (not yet complete) for a couple of years. And still, there is still a significant lack of something.

2. Harpalus autumnalis (Duftschmid, 1812) - Volgograd, Russia. Remzavoda, the slope of the Volga river bank. 7.04.2010. It differs well from similar ones in the presence of a number of dots at the top of the 7th elytra gap and the presence of at least 1-2 dots at the top of the 5th.

Yes, all jet engines, it's hard to remove them. Recently, we go with Liparus, he usually grabs them out of old habit, so they are generally deranged later... so it's not something that comes across at all. smile.gif
