Take it easy, colleague, take it easy! I'm sure she didn't like meeting you very much either. Moreover, from her (if this individual is a female) point of view, you were generally frighteningly huge... And therefore clearly not edible lol.gif lol.gif lol.gif

We bought fabric mats for the floor. They put it in a corner, after a while they decided to make a bed, but some strange insects were found under them. Everything was thoroughly washed, the mats washed and cleaned. It didn't help. Insects are dark brown, 0.5 cm long, some smaller. Narrow, thin, thicker in the head than in the tail. They run moderately slowly. No legs, no antennae.
What is it and how to deal with it?

Bad Den, unfortunately, there is no photo (yet). I found their images in the all-powerful Yandex, no, it doesn't seem like ours - ours are not hairy at all.

Hello! confused.gif Please tell me what kind of creatures live in my dacha in Podoskovye. At the same time, they are found exclusively to the bed... Just a couple at a time. After that, it is unpleasant to sleep there, to put it mildly.
Unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture of them (the equipment was not at hand, and my digital camera probably won't take such a small thing), so I'll try to describe it.
Small oblong things that have the whole body covered with small hairs-wortki. The villi are 1-1. 5 mm long, and the creatures themselves are 4-5 mm in size. They can't see their eyes or legs with the naked eye. They are dark brown in color. Cute creatures, but you don't really want to sleep with them.
Here, I drew you their torso shape. It may be more obvious this way.

Larvae of leatherworms shol? О_о

19.06.2009 17:17, Guest

I dug around on the Internet at the expense of leatherworm larvae, then here on such
user posted image it definitely doesn't look like it, these are some long ones.
But on these user posted image in general, it looks similar, but those that I have on all sides are the same, without stripes and darker.
Maybe another kind of kozheater just?

19.06.2009 22:55, DeBug

Hello, everyone. Help us figure out what kind of animals we brought with us (we went to nature to lie on the grass). We found a very small bug (0.2-0.5 mm) on the clothes. They thought it was harmless. But today they found the same bug on the body, but full of blood! And bite marks on the leg (more and more bites appear on the body). People, they are sooo small - in the eye of a small needle would fit 3-4 of these creatures. On dark clothing, you can see better-they are the color of a speck of dust.
If crushed , they don't smell like bedbugs. The bites are painful!!!
The bug was photographed by macro photography.

MAYBE SOMEONE KNOWS what this beast is and how to deal with it???
1,2, - empty, 3 - with blood
strips - these are tetrad cells

these are some kind of ticks. Intersno, I've never seen anything like it!

19.06.2009 23:11, DeBug

I'm panicking, how do I get rid of them??? bite marks constantly appear on the body, and it is not easy to find the creature.

19.06.2009 23:11, Fornax13

Gamazovye any.

19.06.2009 23:14, DeBug

addition: they move fast enough.

19.06.2009 23:16, Fornax13

Maybe there were any nests / burrows nearby?

19.06.2009 23:24, DeBug

We were on the lawn in the city park (St. Petersburg), where they often walk dogs.

19.06.2009 23:43, Fornax13

I don't know then. IMHO something like bird ticks. Google what you can do with them.

21.06.2009 4:29, Боюсь насекомых до смерти

Hello everyone Tell me, pozh-ta, what kind of animal I have settled?
There were unexpectedly small beetles, I saw first a few on the balcony, then on the windowsill, which is near the balcony, there were very, very many of them! Moreover, they appeared suddenly!
Dimensions max 1 mm, crawling into the light(or heat?), when shone on them with a lamp, hordes of computer speakers came out(they were standing on the windowsill, too). The smallest, barely discernible white dots. Very unpleasant bite, blisters and itching appear! Pigeons live on the balcony under the wardrobe, most likely crawling from them. After one treatment with Reid, they disappeared, but I continue to itch. I thought they were baby bedbugs, but it's confusing that they appear mostly during the day. Translucent, grayish-yellow, crawling very slowly, do not jump, do not fly. This is the third night I have to sleep in a chair, because the bed is near the window...scary...frown.gif

Good day to all!
I have this question: not so long ago, a friend told me that while working on the street, he observed such a picture
: a fly flew in, sat on the bench, got off it, whether it was some kind of bug or spider. The fly flew away and this bug began to explore the shop. A few minutes later, the fly flew to the same place , the bug got back and they flew away!
Can anyone tell me what kind of passenger it was?
Thanks!

21.06.2009 14:31, Боюсь насекомых до смерти

amara, thank you for your reply! I also thought that it was something like ticks, I wanted to make sure that it wasn't a bug or a louse. it's terrible, but my conscience doesn't allow me to ruin the nest...straight dilemma(

21.06.2009 16:57, amara

Two things, and secondly, they are not insects at all, so you should not be afraid of them. smile.gif
First of all, the fight against ticks is not a quick thing, I had to take other ticks out of the wooden house, I sprayed the whole house from the outside twice a year, and after two years they were still in a smaller number. So the sooner you start, the better. I read somewhere that most drugs do not work on adult forms, but only on larvae and eggs, preventing them from developing. But chemicals are not harmless to animals and people, use carefully.

amara, in my opinion, is just on the turn - adult ticks die, but the eggs remain alive. Therefore, it is important when processing from ticks (I know about cacti) strictly adhere to the pickling schedule - so as not to allow hatching ticks to lay new eggs. And acaricides-yes, a terrible mess.

21.06.2009 17:30, amara

I probably read it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miticide

Common miticides: Methoprene is virtually harmless to non-insects, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency‎ (EPA) has exempted it from tolerance. It is widely available in supermarkets, ctc. Hydroprene is toxic to fish & perhaps birds. Both are for indoor use only, as they break down in sunlight. Methoprene is applied as a wetting spray, hydroprene as an aerosol space spray. Neither will affect adult insects; they work on future generations by preventing growth or maturation.

and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permethrin

Permethrin on the cotton instantly kills any immature ticks that are feeding on the mice.

Do you really need ticks and infections? Drive the pigeons, and immediately - there is nothing to think about. I've had quite a lot of people living over my balcony for many years - stink, excrement, feathers flying... I don't know how to get rid of it... frown.gif

I would gladly send them away, but it is difficult from a technical point of view: the 8th floor, all the balconies below are open, it is not ethical to throw them off the balcony in relation to the neighbors. And getting out from under the locker is a nest...you'll get the horseradish..
