The other day I caught a pair of Calosoma (Charmosta) investigator (Illiger, 1798) in Kharkiv in the city (on the light), it is rare, in what amount is it estimated?

Guys, could you discuss the issues of purchase and sale in the appropriate gadyushnik?
I make no secret of the fact that the material trade is deeply repugnant to me. Remember that not everyone is so unscrupulous.

The words and epithets are chosen-disgusting, disgusting, unprincipled.

1) For a number of forum participants, the value and rarity of a species (instance) is measured not in "green" and not in tugriks. And this is great in its own way.
2) You should not impose your views on anyone. Who wants to buy ( trade) - yes to health. But if here - then according to the rules of the forum, that is, in the appropriate topic. Fortunately, our forum is still primarily a place for like-minded people to communicate, and not just a fair (virtual entomomagazine). And personally, I don't want it to become just that.
3) Dear kotbegemot just, first of all, reminded you of the need to refrain from turning each topic into a "national hodgepodge" (if you are interested in the price of a captured copy , go here, please: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=228188 ), and, secondly, expressed his personal attitude to the material trade. And he is entitled to HIS opinion. He doesn't impose it on anyone.
However, I shouldn't have gotten involved in this fruitless discussion. Everyone will still have their own opinion.

12.07.10. Kiev region, Tarashchansky district, near the village of Kirdany. Let's go to the south of the region-the goal of the mottled laeta and centaureae .Two colleagues went from Friday to Saturday , the weather was good in the morning, so they had a good catch, almost a dozen first and more than two dozen second, in addition, a lot of purpuralis, loti and philipendul. In addition, the panes of ichneumoniformis and megillaeformis are mowed down this time, and not on pheromones, there are a lot of minimuses. My colleague and I arrived at 17: 00 just before the thunderstorm due to unforeseen road conditions ,so we got 1-2 copies each. Despite the past rain and windy weather, we decided to light up (the lamp is the same DRL 250). From 21-30 to 04-00. Not very many years, here's the result.

Behind the tufts, I notice that specimens that do not appear at the most characteristic time of summer for the species are smaller than the usual size. This is clearly seen in the" late arrival " of P. bucephala. Yes, and the butterflies of the existing second generation have a larger spread between max and min sizes.

Cryphia receptricula can not be a dozen at the same time, even in habitats. This is a small species. You need to see the photo.

upd I'm talking about Europe. A lot of S. receptricula can be found in Turkmenistan, for example.

Thank you all, I made it. definitely Cryphia algae,
and also algae, as I previously imagined it.

Not really about fishing, though... Today, Cryphia algae (left) and C. receptricula (right) emerged from the caterpillars caught in the spring.
According to my observations, the receptacles are slightly larger. They differ from the alga by the angle between the dark stripe and the costal edge of the lane. Also, all the receptacles I met had reddish dots near the apex of the lane.

Birthplace of caterpillars:
C. receptricula - Crimean Azov region, north - West of Semisotka village, Alibay tract, May 7.
C. algae-Crimea, Feodosia, Primorskiy settlement, April 10.

Crustaceans (which are not crustaceans, but lamelliferous mustaches from another family - Bolboceratidae) are really very good: Bolbelasmus unicornis (brown, larger) and Odontaeus armiger (black, with a movable horn)

Sympetrum pedemontanum. Wow! smile.gif And where is it - "near the Moscow district"? It would be more precise... It is possible in a personal account or e-mail, so as not to clog up here. Thank you in advance. smile.gif

Their females also have spots on their wings. But we still have 6 species of Sympetrum with mostly transparent wings, and most of them are already flying.

Trichoferus pallidus-I think the find is quite good!!! Moreover, for Moldova, the 2007 version of M. L. Danilevsky's list does not mention the species, although the latter version does (according to an oral report from Rippera).

Greetings colleagues!
I just wanted to find out something for myself...just above, I unsubscribed to the account of Trychoferus Pallidus, and as I understood, no one caught it. A. Zubov provided any additional information about this species or not?
ATO needs to run to the Institute of Microbiology to add to the list

26.07.2010 18:53, Dmitry Vlasov

On the list of barbels in Europe (www.cerambycidae.net Several interesting species were collected in Moldavia by A. Zubov (personal message, 2007): Cortodera villosa villosa, Trichoferus pallidus (Kozhushna), T. campestris (Mikuetz), Clytus lama (Gyrbovetz), Dorcadion cinerarium cinerarium (Rezeny), Theophilea subcylindricollis (Reseny, Kishinev), Calamobius filum (Kozhushna, Pedurja Domnjaske, Plajul Faguluj)"... So you need to ask Rippera - does he have any proof???
