In parallel with "Egorus" in the north smile.gifof the region, we caught with "Shustov"
Ukraine, Zaporozhye, 27.10. from 18.30 to 22.00.We did not go far, because according to the forecast it was raining, we caught on the outskirts of the city. In terms of novelty, our fishing is clearly inferior to "Egorus" - it has two new types of scoops for the region: Muthimna unipuncta and Agrochola lota.
The number of species is almost the same, there are more than two dozen species of scoops on two screens.
Here's what we had:

Diloba caeruleocephala, declining, less than a dozen
Amphipyra livida, one

picture: _IMG_9828.jpg
Caradrina clavipalpis, alone, came to this species, where there can be no other.
Agrochola circellaris, the most widespread species
Agrochola helvola, one
Eupsilia transversa, several

_IMG_9836.jpg
Ulochlaena hirta, these flew, more than two dozen were

_IMG_9854.jpg
Lithophane ornitopus, several
Allophyes oxyacanthae, more than 10

_IMG_9843.jpg
Dryobotodes eremita, a pair
of Ammoconia caecimacula, more than 10
Polymixis latesco, up to 10
Rhizedra lutosa, one
Agrotis segetum, more than 10
Xestia c-nigrum, several

and moths

The evening was warm 10-11, but the forecast did not deceive, from the beginning water dust flew covering everything with droplets of moisture

and by ten o'clock, a light rain began to fall.

A.bajaria-I have never caught it yet, on Saturday we are thinking of going closer to you near Voznesensk (Buzhsky Gard near Trikraty), maybe we will catch something new, otherwise something takes envy.

I also left on October 25.
Two hours in the cold...
The whole catch is in a tiny box.
(except for the first vertical row)
Question to svm2, is it in the upper horizontal row three moth-
Agriopis bajaria?

26.10.2010 I went to the Makarovsky district of the Kiev region, near the village of Stroivka. The weather is lovely - it rained all evening and night at a temperature of +5 smile.gifCaught from 20.00 to 23.30, it was not enough for longer . The entire catch consists of a pair of Poecilocampa populi and one male Diloba caeruleocephala. Everything, as many as three butterfliessmile.gif, although in this weather it is generally surprising that someone flew in. I'm afraid the end of the season is just around the corner. Here is a mega report smile.gif

I agree, but I didn't manage to get out of the city earlier, it's still a working day. You may still be able to leave on the weekend.

Yesterday, 30.10.2010 I went fishing on the light.I didn't have any late-autumn views yet, so I decided to go fishing after all. I didn't finish my business until 18: 00,so I didn't go far.Went out of the city-village.Concha-Zaspa, mixed forest, near a swamp with a lake. Caught from 19.00 to 22.00. It was more or less warm-at the beginning of 10 degrees .The year is very good for this time of year.As soon as I turned on the lamp, males of P. populi ( I caught a male with white wings - f.albescens )and P. plumigera flew - the latter in mass, more than 50 specimens.(males).After 20.00-years almost stopped, but began to arrive female populi and plumigera.
In general, the end of the season was successful.
I wish you all good fishing in the remaining warm days, and in winter do not lose heart - it is short)))

30.10 decided to go south. with the hope of catching something new. since the forecast was not good anywhere, we chose the Mykolaiv region.Trikraty (Buzhsky Gard), at the beginning of September, I and Kostyuk had a good catch there. Lit up at 18-00, the flight started in half an hour at 20-00 as cut off, very cold on the ground frost, the weather was worse than forecast. I didn't want to freeze and after an hour we were already in Kyiv_400 + km.
The result is that there are very few scoops and in addition to macilents in one specimen-Agrotis segetum & ipsilon, Agrochola macilenta&helvola, A. sphinx and Dasypolia templi - this is of course luck, but it did not come to me.
Moths-there are quite a lot of them, alzophilus took as many as he wanted-A. aceraria, E. defoliaria (I couldn't stand one very bright and large one and spread it out) and A. bajaria(there were only 4 of them, I never saw them near Kiev and this was one of the goals. But I was unlucky again, but Sergey Damone shared, there were three of them in it)

Yesterday was warm and sunny. All the walls in the center of the city were covered with Ethelcus denticulatus (Schrank, 1781).I haven't noticed this in a long time.Especially pleasant after a series of cold days.

06.11.2010 We went with Diletanto to our glorious Hydropark ( on the Dnieper River between the right and left banks). For locals, it is more accurate between Pechersk and Rusanovka. At the same time, I broke down for a long time, saying that it was not a royal business to catch fish in the center of Kiev, but Zhbankov still drove me to go there. Caught from 17.00 to 19.00 on the DRV 250. With the weather was lucky +15 and almost no wind. With butterflies, as for the city center, it's quite decent: at first Poecilocampa populi flew quite thickly, but they flew away quickly. A little later, Ptilophora plumigera in the assortment, these could be taken as much as necessary and what you need. Scoops and moths also occurred. Not sensational, but nice. However, Populi and Plumiger in Kiev were pleased.
List of taken items:
Poecilocampa populi
Ptilophora plumigera
Scoops:
Agrochola macilenta
Agrotis ipsilon
Conistra rubiginosa
Lithophane furcifera
Mythimna ferrago
Peridroma saucia

A little too much drasterium and ripertarium in the sand in spring and summer, maybe someone needs it-take it away, that would not be lost.

I would take it - I caught a few of them there this year, and at the end of April - only 3 copies.I'm going to go there a couple of times next year - I think I'll catch it.

All that is necessary is visible, but when a photo is taken on the screen from a mobile phone, it is bad.
So soon from the place of fishing on the forum with a mobile phone photo will throw. Efficiency.

Yes, it is most similar to Geastrum quadrifidum, but still, the photo from the province of Alberta, the closest. It's very correct.. There was a desire to take it with you, but how to keep it ? Spiritovat - alcohol jaco. Cool. Thanks to Hierophis. smile.gif Sorry for the non-thematic conversation.

13/10 tried to close the season. After Rzhyshev in Ulyaniki, we turned onto a dirt road and stopped at some overgrown ravine. Warm , but windy.
They all flew one or two copies at a time. and nothing interesting-segetum and ypsilon, macilenta and circirata, gamma, rubiginosa, transversa, ornithopus-that's all the scoops, except for the plumigera and moth epirita, siterate and brumata, up to 10 micro species, many different diptera, some beetles. There were also beetles - a lot of small aphodia, some very small staphylin, a ladybug . And here is this small miracle, which I, with my poor eyesight, first took for a micro.
Sadly. And in the Crimea, someone catches new moths for Ukraine.

Set it up and we'll determine it.
As for the cicada, I took it by accident, counting it as a micro.
As for the new moth, this is a question for the author, when he decides, then he will report what, where and how.
