Arthur, the person really caught him (before the post appeared, we discussed this with him on Skype). Another thing, apparently, can't take a picture of it (that's why I took it from the site). In this case, the user (s) should correct the post by giving a link to the site from which the photo was taken (that's all).

You're right, Vasily, that's exactly what we should have done from the very beginning. You can't use other people's photos or quotes from other people's publications without referring to the original source. Otherwise, it looks like plagiarism, and in a decent society, plagiarism is the most shameful phenomenon.

Come on, we will not judge strictly, I think (apparently the person did not know this). And it will fix it (I'm sure). Approximately here-this is how it is done: http://insects.botgard.uran.ru/chernpihtus.htm
(this is my photo that was once stamped from molbiol without attribution). They sent me a letter of apology and corrected it. I no longer have any complaints about them.

14.08.2010. Chernihiv region, Bobrovitsky district, Ozeryany village. It shone all night.
Everything that is currently flying there is shown in the photo below.

A male Cailiteara pudibunda arrived-saw him sitting on the wall of a building-while he turned away for a net - he was gone. So there is no proof. Maybe a glitch due to the heat eek.gif
And in general, the second generation of it can be?

it could very well be. If in the Moscow region pudibundy in August come across, then in Chernihiv even more so.

Previously, in August, I met only caterpillars. Yes, and they write everywhere the terms of summer May-June - so I was a little surprised when I saw it.

sibiricus haeres n. fossulatus-considered by some as a separate taxon sibiricus fossulatus .For me, a slabouklonyauschaya nation from sibiricus haeres, not deserving of the status of a subspecies.

I was in late July-early August on Svityaz Lake, for some reason I managed to fish only in the second week, and then the weather let me down-during the day it was good, but only in the evening-a thunderstorm and rain until the morning or a storm. The camera broke down on the second day, so there are no images

I would not say that the season in the European part was mediocre. In my opinion, despite the anomalies in the weather, it is quite average. Today, for example, I was fishing in Moscow near the Domodedovo metro station at Omar's apartment in Ripper fees. The fees were not as bad as Andrey said on the phone, and I was quite successful in catching them, thanks smile.gifto Andriukha . 28.08.2010. We went to catch the light with Sergey Damone. The target was the hawthorn cocoonworm Trichiura crataegi . After some hesitation, we decided to go to Boguslav (the weather forecast promised a warm cloudy night there). As it turned out, not in vain - Sergey managed to catch one male.
All that I caught below in the photo. There were still broken Catocala fraxini, electa and Sergey has more or less fresh Catocala sponsa.
Kiev region, Boguslavsky district, Khokhitva village. Deciduous forest, caught in the clearing of the Urengoy-Uzhgorod gas pipeline.

With I. Kostyuk participated in EMN 7 .We spent three nights in different places-the national park "Buzhsky Gard", in the sands of the Kherson region" Oleshkovskie Sands "and the outskirts of the reserve"Elenatskaya Steppe". The nights are very cold, in the sands before the morning - +3, in the steppe - +4, but the catch in our opinion is not bad, although those species that, in my opinion, are interesting flew in single specimens. Mass types of scoops of xanthograph, vitelin, armiger, trifolia.Brassica and Agrotis obesa in the sand.
I don't give a list, because not everything is defined (especially 6-7 Euxoa species,so far only obelisca seems to have been defined).
Here is what I think is interesting-Polymixis polymita, Ch. maritima, A. hospes, Sp. exigua, M. literosa, Luperina zollikoferi, Gortyna cervago,Hadena albimacula, Leucania punctosa, P. stolida, C. balsamitae. These are up to 5-6 copies-Ch. hyperici, A. nitida, M. acetosellae, Luperina taurica, Ep. glacina, and more-Acontia candefacta, E. purpurina. So far, there are E. extensaria and E. pauxillaria(in my opinion, not yet confirmed by I. Kostyuk) and more than a dozen C. elinguaria among the moths.
Other groups include C. cribraria (a lot in the sand), T. crataegi, and death's head, which feels like it's been in evidence.
I haven't photographed the boxes yet.

For eupithecia, the clarification is innotata (it is necessary to cook) and variostrigata, and not the ones written above

Final report for the past season - interesting findings on bedbugs for the Kharkiv region.

Agramma atricapillum (Spinola, 1837)
07.07.2010. Zmiyevskaya district, Komsomolskoye. Salt marshes. Mowing sedge.
Usually in Ukraine it is found in the southern coastal regions on salt marshes.

Agramma tropidopterum Flor, 1860
04.07.2010. Okr. Krasnokutsk. Mixed forest on sand, mowing sedge in sphagnum swamps.
It is characteristic of sphagnum swamps in the north of the forest zone. Judging by the literature sources In Ukraine, it is rare.

Dyroderes umbraculatus (Fabricius, 1775)
30.05.2010. Railway station Vasishchevo. Mowing grass on sand, according to the idea from bedstraw (Galium).
leg. A. Shehovcov & B. Loboda.
In the southern part of Ukraine, I didn't find any information about Kharkiv region.

Jalla dumosa (Linnaeus, 1758)
01.07.2010. Novovodolazhsky district, Brodok. Floodplain of the river, rare vegetation on the sands.
leg. A. Slutsky.
Rare everywhere. As it turned out from a conversation with VN Grama - he came across only once.

Pinthaeus sanguinipes (Fabricius, 1781)
30.05.2010. Railway station Vasishchevo. The edge of a deciduous forest.
leg. A. Shehovcov.
It is rare, it usually comes across single copies everywhere. This is already the third one on my account, although Liparus is unclear where the two I gave it went. smile.gif

Psacasta neglecta (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1837)
01.07.2010. Novovodolazhsky district, Brodok. On the bruise (Echium).
I don't have any information about its presence in the Kharkiv region, it is usually found further south.

Spathocera dalmanii (Schilling, 1829)
30.05.2010. Railway station Vasishchevo. Mowing grass on sand.
leg. A. Shehovcov & B. Loboda.
It doesn't come across very often. In the early spring, I found one under a rock. And then Liparus squinted enough, scored as much as I wanted...

A home report, albeit belated. I just recently started hanging out on the forum, so I'm trying to catch shuffle.gifup 11.06.2010 Kiev region, Makarovsky district, mixed forest near the village of Borovka. We went with Diletanto. It flew quite well, even gastropacha populifolia a few specimens. caught. It's not very rare, of course, but it's the first time I've seen it in those parts smile.gif, and I've been working there for about fifteen years. Foresters came to the light. At first they were serious, but when they found out what we were doing in the forest at night , they laughed for a long time and then left.

A little fishing on the Bukrine 25.09. Moonlit night, but relatively not cold.
There is almost nothing new or interesting.
Here's what I selected.
