In southern Ukraine, it may end in February and March, and for some in the second half of April...

Eh yeah, I already have a bunch of plans wink.gif

I also don't ride a bike in most places, but I have plans to put an engine, and I'm working on it right now, I hope that this will give some real advantages. Of course, there are also many disadvantages.
By the way, why take a backpack on your back when cycling? It is very tiring in fact, so it is better to either hang it on the steering wheel, if not more than 10 kg, or even place it on the trunk, if there is quite a lot of weight, and I tried it on the back-it is inconvenient, well, maneuverability decreases.

I think that yes is yes, it's even a shame to mention that I'm already tired of winter, because here it's not much and a lot.
But winter can't be enough!!! Even after three days, it gets boring! ))))

in fact, I went hiking all summer on foot, bought a bike (before that there was a Stork) only in mid-August, thought to attach some basket to the trunk, but school was starting and I didn't bother.

and the engine is cool, I myself have been dreaming for a very long time.

Happy New year and new spring.
I didn't dare give up my five kopecks yesterday after such a report. paste. today I think it is already possible. On January 1, in the morning, I took it upon myself to check how the Pyrochroidae faces spend the winter. I couldn't resist. it winters well. but most importantly, staphylinches from Paederinae were found in the poplar dust under the ground. probably Rugilus orbiculatus or R. similis. the season is open

January 2, 2013. The surroundings of Feodosia, the Barakolskaya basin and the Uzun-Syrt ridge. Weather: Sunny, light wind, temperature +12.
Almost no green plants - drought. Despite the warm weather, there are very few insects, even under the stones there is practically nothing.
From the living creatures we met: diptera-4 species, a couple of pieces of spiders, a red-bodied tick, bristle-tails, an empty ooteka and a larva of Empusa fasciata, some mouse-like rodent, delta-moto-glider pair (in assortment), diggers-treasure hunters, Apterona helicoidella cover, Cornulivalvulia cartaginella cover, Coleophoridae Gen. sp., two tracks of Arctia festiva.

Lake Barakol has completely dried up.

Today we had approx. +8, but it was overcast, everything was flooded with water, approx. 20 cm of snow came off a week ago. So I didn't go anywhere, but I saw a fly on the balcony yesterday, it was +3 but sunny smile.gifYes, not the tropics smile.gif
And on Christmas holidays we will all freeze, and someone will freeze without snow, with freezing rain and hurricane-force winds, and of course this is southern Ukraine ))) Opiyayat.. №?У%У;::?:?*:

maybe someone will advise you where to find an online determinant or e-book.

I am tired of sitting without hiking in nature, so yesterday I decided to explore a new area for myself (although maybe someone knows).
picture: IMG_0013.JPG
The gully is divided by road into 3 parts: lower, central, and upper. I decided not to go to the lower one, it is almost completely flooded. I started with the central one.
picture: IMG_0015.JPG
This reservoir was formed due to the fact that the Kakhov reservoir (more correctly, a swamp) was built, the waters of which began to seep through the slopes of bvlka. Now there is paid fishing.picture: IMG_0017.JPGpicture: IMG_0019.JPG
There are a lot of snails on the non-flooded slopes near the highway:
picture: IMG_0025.JPG
You can see the hotel-cafe from the side. And then there will be more stalls. So, if you go to catch, then there is a place to eat))

Is it hawthorn? I don't know much about plants yet."..
picture: IMG_0031.JPG
Natural Monument:
picture: IMG_0033.JPGpicture: IMG_0035.JPG
Next to the cafe is:picture: IMG_0039.JPG
I turned off in the direction of the fields where you can't hunt. Pigs come here regularly:picture: IMG_0075.JPG
Then I crossed the bridge over the pond. Vegetation is still scarce:picture: IMG_0065.JPGpicture: IMG_0068.JPG

picture: IMG_0085.JPG

Went to the top. It's more interesting here.

The season has already started for us. smile.gif
On March 8-11, I walked around the Crimea with young tourists through Cave cities. The goal was to catch all sorts of Crimean goodies for bait, if you were lucky, of course. The weather forecast, as always, was not justified. of the promised 3 cloudy days with short-term rains, it rained for 6 minutes. jump.gif
The temperature was pleasant, nature woke up, snowdrops are blooming in full bloom.

And fight again! We only dream of peace
After returning from the Crimea, we decided to check what was flying with us. The main goal was to try to catch the fluffy cocoonworm (Eriogaster lanestris), in a gully where many caterpillars were seen. Alas, there were no cocoonworms, and there were an order of magnitude more butterflies than in the Crimea. On the bait scoops dozens, on the screen more than a moth. The other day we will try again, tomorrow-the day after tomorrow, the Internet promises a normal temperature of +12 in the afternoon and +8 in the evening, then again everything falls to zero.
