I went for one night to Dibuni, to the sphagnum swamp, where I collected this year in June. I didn't really count on anything, I was just wondering what would come if I lit it up there. So sometimes, because of this interest, I put the screen in the strangest places and often fly by.
Here it is a swamp and the screen is already installed (I caught it on a generator with an energy-saving ECOLA lamp, or rather on half of the ECOLA lamp, because the second half is cracked and has not been lit for some time)

Arrived in the late afternoon and a little povypugival ...
Of the leafhoppers, Philedone gerningana is found in the mass, Eupoecilia angustana and Rhopobota naevana are less common. Eulithis testata is a common moth. Eilema lutarella is often seen. To my delight, I managed to catch fitzitina, which I had never seen before. Already in the city, I identified it as Pempelia palumbella.

I started to shine, everything was flying just awful. The night seems to be not cold and dark, but a blank screen.

Pelosia muscerda, Triodia sylvina, Lymantria monacha, Coenophila subrosea, Cerapteryx gramminis, Donacaula mucronella, Eilema complana, Miltochrista miniata, and Cataclysta lemnata also arrived. From such a set it became terribly sad.

Not a Philedone gerningana all night, but I did notice Phiaris schulziana flying in (and they weren't there at dusk).

I don't understand why...

Eupithecia succenturiata arrived from pyadenitsa at the end of fishing, but this did not make it any easier.

And then there was the one I'd just identified by its genitals-Gymnoscelis rufifasciata. The moth is quite rare in our country.

Good day to all, Gentlemen, where to go in the Astrakhan region? And in Volgograd, and in Kalmykia, crocs sms-kami on 8960 321 62 64, thank you))) What I find -I'll share prin'applicable )))

I just returned from a trip to the Leningrad region. Caught two nights in the Lomonosov district, the results are terrible - did not catch anything. Apparently the places were not the same and the time of the off-season.

75 km square, which is not accessible by car. There are dry glades, very pleasant.
Vegetation in the meadow: veynik, bluegrass, cornflowers (meadow, rough), heather, yarrow, bedstraw, stonecrop.

Among the meadow vegetation are hummocks with cranberries and blueberries.

DSCN7562_.jpg

DSCN7564_.jpg

DSCN7565_.jpg

However, the entire meadow fauna of micra had departed by this time, Agriphila inquinatella flew en masse, and Agriphila tristella was not uncommon. There was simply nothing else.

The light was flying badly. As a result, scoops: Crypsedra gemmea, C. gramminis, E. occulta, A. fucosa, T. cespitis, Diarsia sp., Ch. fluxa, Myth. conigera.

Moth species: Eul. populata, E. testata, D. citrata, I. dimidiata, M. alternaria, E. pusillata

In the morning, I photographed L. tityrus in a clearing. It seems that this is the most northerly find of the species in general, and, by the way, L. alciphron was previously observed in this place.

DSCN7566_.jpg

The conclusions are that you need to arrive 75 km much earlier.

On the second day, we made a crossing over the Syuryevskoe swamp.

I thought that maybe it would be possible to catch on it, but when I got on it, the desire to catch on the light disappeared. Pine trees with dry sphagnum hummocks were on the edges of the swamp, and the swamp itself turned out to be a swampy bog.

DSCN7569_.jpg

From swamp animals-Philedone gernigana and all that was found.

In the middle of the road, in the center of this swampy surface, I found that the cart's wheel had come off (there were 4 of them in total). I decided not to come back.
In the photo, the cart is already without a wheel, but I don't know about it yet ...
The journey of 3-4 km was physically difficult due to the heavy load.

We got to the village. Kovashi and then, in the hope that there will be good fishing spots, to the valley of the Kovashi River.

In the valley of the river there are thickets of alder, spruce-birch-aspen forest sometimes approaches the banks, but somehow not very often. Meadows are pleasant in places-forest geraniums, meadowsweet, bedstraw, angelica - moist large-herbed. But basically, everything is overgrown in human growth with " daisies "(see photo), field bodyak, as well as forest kupyr, nettles and snytyu.

DSCN7578_.jpg

DSCN7585_.jpg

DSCN7586_.jpg

DSCN7587_.jpg

There is no fishing in the world.

Either the place is bad, or the off-season.

The plant is Coronilla varia.
Based on the presence of this plant, as well as corydon, I can draw some conclusions about the biotope and assume that the photo shows an argyrognomone.

Thanks! Vyazel signed - but I still doubt about Plebejus. The instance is built, then I can show it. Externally, it looks exactly like argus. argyrognomon near Moscow looks completely different...

August 10, Oryol neighborhood, Luzhki settlement.
A walk to check out the tiny population of Phengaris nausithous, saw a couple, the female turned out to take a picture. In addition to them, there were very shabby Phengaris teleius, there were many of them. A lot of Lysandra coridon, Colias hyale, met five Neptis sappho-one is quite fresh, just came out. Favonius quercus was also captured.

Yaroslavl region, Pereslavl district, western shore of Lake Baikal. Pleshcheyevo. 11-12. 8. 13
Went to explore the beetle biodiversity along the lake shore and in the surrounding forests, and along the way to see some other protected inhabitants of the NP "Pleshcheyevo Lake".
Almost immediately (near the spring "Gremyach") in the stump of a black alder caught a mouse (?), while photographing it and thinking where to put it to deliver it alive to Yaroslavl, it turned around and bit my finger-as a result, it ran away...
Set traps along the shore in several places, and then in the forest. Bottom line - nothing interesting (despite the warm night - at least +18), except for two Pterostichus aterrimus at one point, but I collected four pieces in three places with my hands. And in the forest, except for the background Carabus hortensis and pterostichovy trifle, I did not catch anyone..
While I was setting traps in the reeds nearby, someone started to rustle and make a loud noise, I waited for someone to appear, and without waiting, I threw a stick - as a result, a frightened harrier (?) flew out, almost shitting me... A cat on the swampy shore of the lake caught grasshoppers from the genus Metrioptera, a swamp filly, mowed down a bunch of plate wings and an agriope spider!!! On the road, I found a broken yoke, a pile of admirals, peacock eyes and hives, and some red ribbon. There are few" scales "(in species) - whiteflies, and nymphalids, except for the listed ones-anguloptera, black-red urticaria, large forest mother - of-pearl and selena mother-of-pearl-very shabby... I found a certain number of Red Book plants - for example, bramble and one mushroom-bruise (giroporus sineuschiy). And at the end, a few photos...

26.06.2013г.Krasnodar Territory, Yeisk district, river bank Ash trees.

In general, the Yeisk district is a peninsula formed on one side by the Yeisk Estuary, on the other by the Taganrog Bay, and on the third by the Sea of Azov proper. And at their junctions there are sandbanks. These are the Yeisk Spit, Dolzhanskaya Spit and Kamyshevatskaya spit. If the first two are packed with resort guests in the summer to the eyeballs, then Kamyshevatskaya is still almost unknown. Miles of sandbanks and almost no people:

9. 08. again I came to the Kamyshevatskaya spit(very much there the ram bites chudnenko), wandered along the spit, took pictures of animals.
The blue-winged fillies were almost all eaten, and there were only a few left, but they were replaced by clouds of cotton dustpan:

This year in our area there is an outbreak of its numbers-in the summer its caterpillars gnawed all the tomatoes, and now, probably the third generation of the scoop, flies everywhere, feeding on flowers day and night:

Lots of seaside bedbugs:

Today I took advantage of the relatively good weather and rushed to the Vladimir region to look for a nutcracker under the bark Danosoma fasciatum (Linnaeus 1758). As a result, after walking several kilometers and "scalding" a lot of pines, I collected one male (the species is apparently really rare and local). What I am happy about is indescribable jump.gif
Along the way, I gathered another series of Upis ceramboides for the congress, of which there are apparently a great many at any time of the year. I was struck by the abundance of mushrooms (it's a pity that I didn't take the container for them): I'll dial it later. In general: I walked around, took a picture and was very satisfied with the trip.
Photo:
No. 11. A very vicious animal: I was bitten by it by the finger not too badly: it rushes straight as if it were an enemy and already jumps up smile.gif
No. 16. On the straightening penarii do not count (collected in the morning, on the balcony, in the Railway Station): only yolk is brought.
No. 18. Interested in the type of ktyr, which is depicted together with the purpose of the trip smile.gifNo one knows?

UPD: the male danosoma has already been posted in the topic "Nutcrackers" by editing the post: there will be a kit for the local female.

From 7 to 8 were (I and Ilya= I. roK.ez) in the forests of the Lipetsk region (Dobrovskiy district).
The most disastrous trip of the year weep.gifthe wrong place and the wrong time, and the weather also seams frown.gifThe rain started around 5 pm and went with small interruptions until my departure the next evening (I don't know further)
Mixed forest with a predominance of pine, a little birch, aspen and isolated oaks on the edge of a sedge swamp with thickets of wild rosemary, spots of blueberries and lingonberries. We managed to find a few bushes of fruit-bearing lingonberries, which is very rare for our region (normal photos did not come out due to rain). Well, as is usually the case in the "autumn reports" - mushrooms. A couple of hours before the "catch" and in the morning we scored almost 3 buckets of Polish without leaving far from the car. And in the morning it was enough to find yesterday's "stump" and collect fresh young mushrooms around.
There was no summer at all!!! And what kind of butterfly (fool) will fly in this weather. All that arrived-in the photoweep.gif, well, plus 4 Catocala fraxini (but since they are KK-types, and just nah are not needed by anyone, they were not extracted or transported).
About a dozen Carabus marginalis and a bunch of small Calathus fell into glasses placed on the edges of blueberry curtains (I haven't looked at the species yet). One smile.gifCarabus arcensis was born. That's all frown.gifIn the middle of May in this place there was no free space on the screen, and the glasses were filled to the top with artsensis, shcheglov and so on.
Let's hope that the final trip planned after the Congress will be more fruitful beer.gif
