Roman in the second photo you have sempervilum or molodilo Russkoe-view from the CC, tell your nerds the point. We found such a plant on the Saratov side of the Khopr River.

Oleg, I found a purple spider web in the Tambov region last year, they just said "uh-huh" in response, they didn't even ask for a dot, and no one really needs a young man from Lipetsk.

and here is the same view? http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=526321&st=2250 post # 2286

And molodilo in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation? Or in the regional CC? In the Ministry of Defense, I know where it is widespread, as well as in the Yaroslavl region.

Sorry, a question for Sergey, but I got in shuffle.gif
In the Yaroslavl region. found on the river Yukhot. On the other side of the village. Ancient settlements. True, it was still in my childhood (in 1980), but even now I think there is.
And in M. O., last year in Beloomut saw. Yes, and I think if you search Meshchera: there will be a lot.
P.S. From memory, here is a point known to me in Ya. O., but it was a long time ago:

It will be necessary to search, otherwise there were two points in the vicinity of the biological station, one was completely bent, the second one was found this year (on the arrow of the Hive), but the boltaniki said that at the end of the season some m...ki were hanging out right at this place, and it's not a fact that the plants will survive...

Beyond Pleshcheyev Lake there is the village of Kupanskoe, at the end of the village there is a cemetery. On the right side of the cemetery, if you look from the highway, a rare pine tree was young and growing.

Today was the first full-sun day since the beginning of September. Don Delta, butterflies are very few: Coenonympha pamphilus, Lycaena phlaeas, Pieris rapae, Vanessa atalanta and three Colias species: hyale, erate and a solitary male crocea. Nasty September of this year ditched almost all the autumn lepidopterofauna, not even a scoop.

Good day to all forum participants. Last weekend (from Friday, October 11 to Sunday, October 13) I was at the dacha again. To be honest, I didn't expect to get out of town this year, the weather was too nasty. It is precisely because of the bad weather that I did not go, alas, to the dacha on the weekend of the past two weeks since the last departure. Still, there is nothing to catch when the daytime temperature drops below ten degrees. But just before this weekend, the weather improved a little, the daytime temperature rose to 11-13 degrees Celsius, and the weather forecasters promised sunny weather on the weekend (although I have already learned from my own experience that it is sometimes more expensive to believe them). But in the end, all this led to the fact that I decided to go out into nature for the last time this season, to close the butterfly season. To tell the truth, I was not going to the village to catch butterflies, but on technical matters (it was necessary to preserve the country house for the winter, until spring). So anyway, at least once again this year, I would have got out to the country in any case, but since the weather began to improve, I decided to combine business with pleasure and go for the last time to the village this weekend. And it doesn't matter why I went to the dacha, even if it was for technical reasons, once I arrived there, it is simply impossible for me to refrain from walking in nature and fishing in the light.

Unfortunately, the temperature of 11-13 degrees did not last long, only on the first day (Friday, October 11), the rest of the time it did not exceed ten degrees in the afternoon. Therefore, the activity of insects in general and butterflies in particular was very low. I want to warn you right away - this report will contain many photos of nature and few photos of insects.

So, the first day, Friday, October 11. I took the ten o'clock train to the village in the morning, and by noon I was at my dacha. First, I did what I came for-I prepared the country house for the winter. It took about four hours. It was still light, so I decided to go out into nature. The weather was acceptable for this time of year - overcast and relatively warm, with an occasional glimpse of the sun through the dense cloud cover. I walked through the dry meadows behind the village and reached the forest. Unfortunately, I didn't see a single butterfly, and there weren't any mushrooms in the forest either. In the evening of the same day, nothing good came to light either - just one scoop of Agrochola circellaris (as surprising as it may sound, but this is only the first instance of this species this season) and a few moth of Operophtera brumata.

On the second day, Saturday, October 12, it felt much colder, no more than 10 degrees Celsius. The wind was very cold and piercing. The sun peeked through the dense cloud cover only occasionally, through short windows. Nevertheless, I still found the strength to get out into nature. I took a walk along approximately the same route as on the first day. But, unlike the first day, this time I still met one butterfly-Polygonia c-album. She was sitting on a willow leaf with her wings open and couldn't fly because of the cold, only crawled listlessly. Then, unlike the first day, I reached the edge of the forest and walked along it. In my area, and probably everywhere else, the forest along the outskirts was dug in with so-called "safety harrows" so that in case of fire, the fire did not come out of the forest and did not threaten settlements. So, over time, these harrows began to overgrow with various plants. When I reached them, I saw a very unusual sight - some of the plants that had recently grown in the plowed area were blooming! It was quite surprising that it was mid-October and there was still something blooming in the forest. In total, there were at least five to six species of flowering plants. And in the rare sunny windows, when the sun somehow warmed the air, some flies constantly flew up and landed on the yellow flowers. I will add that on the evening of this day it was so cold that I did not even try to catch the light.

On the third day, Sunday, October 13, there was a wonderful (seemingly) sunny weather. But it was cold, and because of the strong biting wind, it seemed much colder than it really is. On this day, together with a good friend, I took a walk along the river bank to the village of Sergeevo and then through the forest. At first, the activity of insects was almost zero. But closer to the second half of the day, the air warmed up more or less, and insects appeared. I found a bug on the trunk of a birch tree. In flight, I noticed Aglais urticae, Polygonia c-album and Nymphalis xanthomelas. On the way back, I noticed Nymphalis vaualbum sitting on the trunk of a tree.

Separately, I should mention an incident that happened to me on Saturday evening, October 12. Before this trip, I bought some sweet peppers in the store to make a vegetable salad. Already in the village, I cut one of them and could not believe my eyes. I was sitting inside...butterfly caterpillar! Already arriving in the city, I found out that this is the caterpillar of the Helicoverpa armigera scoop. How it got inside the pepper is unclear. There were no holes on the outside of the pepper peel. Such a surprise.

I read a lot of our people from Ukraine and Moldova here, at 13.10 I walked through the Kaluga forest with a hatchet and an old sheet, a picture-several ubiquitous species-granulatus in pairs and 3 species of pterostichus, only 2 small unidentified beetles took, dry up-I'll put them in the definition. When leaving the forest, I came across an adult oak tree, on the pripechnaya side there were 20 pieces of black riders-they were drilling the bark, r-r up to 4 cm,the sight was enchanting,I didn't take a camera,as always,I took 3 pieces to the stain, for a report..

From 15 to 17 October, Anthrenus and I attended a symposium on aquatic and amphibiotic insects held in our region in Pic. Borok of the Nekouz district. The weather was different, on the first day it was overcast and relatively warm, at night it began to rain, in the afternoon on the 16th it became heavy and lasted until the evening. As a result of the libations at the banquet, the weather improved, but at night there was a severe frost. The day was a little warmer and sunny. In addition to the main report itself, we decided to close the season and leave the symposium for a while (about an hour). Right in the park, they started catching beetles (more precisely, picking them out of the dead wood and from under the moss on trees and hummocks). Also, a couple of hours were collected on the 17th, trying to get rid of the consequences of excessive libations. The result for mid-October was impressive - I have about 27-28 species of beetles from ground beetles, floaters, water lovers, dead eaters, nutcrackers, staphylinids, cows, leaf eaters, weevils. Of course, the vast majority of commonplaces are: Carabus granulatus, Pterostichus oblongopunctatus, Calathus micropterus, Platynus assimilis, Phosphuga atrata, Ampedus pomorum, Hippodamia tredecimpunctata, Phratora vulgatissima, etc. But some of the findings were very pleasing - Dromius agilis, D. quadraticollis, and the Badister collaris series. There were some horsemen and flies in the fall, and female hornets and red wasps wintered under the moss on the sand hummocks. At night, some moths "broke" into our room: scoops, winter moths and leafhoppers. But the window (inside the room) was found micra, similar to poplar mining...
And finally photos:

3-4-Badister collaris (ederagus and beetle itself)
5-butterflies on the collection
6-morning frost (17.10)
7-what we went for (report).

TEMPUS, an interesting note about re-blooming! We now also have a lot of plants blooming repeatedly, and some species are very crowded, which by the way is a big plus for butterflies and other nectar-eating insects.
However, what is most interesting is that I was taught this - repeated flowering is initiated mainly by such factors as drought and sudden changes in temperature, and drought is in the first place, this season we were distinguished by a sharp cold snap in late September/early November, and in July and August there was a drought.
But you didn't have a drought!
But the prolonged cold snap was exactly the same as ours. So we can conclude that the drought has little effect on re-flowering.
Moreover, according to the reports that I have, where there was no drought, re-flowering is much stronger, even such species as periwinkle bloom!

It's just Agrochola helvola

Not so bad, actually. At least I can't catch it in my own country. Only Agrochola circellaris is found.

Instead of Indian summer, there was an Indian autumn on the lower Don.
Today, the delta of the Don, there are only a few representatives.

Both species are common in the Verkhnevoronezh massif.

Batkovskoe swamp south of the entire territory of the Ivanovo region...May 7 in my area is still quite early spring, in particularly mountainous areas there was snow... I must say right away that Oeneis jutta was not caught and now we have reliably found out that this species is not present at this point.
You haven't found out for sure yet. Even for the Batkovsky swamp (which is further south), May 7 is too early for reliable information on this species. With morel you were very lucky that day.

I totally agree with you. We think so ourselves. So next year we will try again at a later time (in mid-May, I think, it will be fine). In addition, the next season is also planned to check the Vanyukovsky swamp in the Yuzhsky district (a huge, but very hard-to-reach riding swamp).
