- Everything doesn't fit! frown.gif - Maybe delete photos of "places" from your previous property??? "will it help?"
Maybe we should do at least some preliminary selection of photos? I understand that I want to show EVERYTHING, and the photos are really good. But still, the forum is not a photo gallery, and with such a volume of photos, it has a hard time.

To everyone. There are two options: either upload fewer photos, or upload them to third-party photo archives, and post previews here. With the second option, the forum load is significantly reduced. We've already talked about how to do this many times wrote Filin, but no one seems to have heard it.

Very convenient via http://www.ljplus.ru/
After uploading there, you can select a pack of photos and automatically generate a code for inserting it into the forum.

We returned with Andrey Vlasenko from a trip to Abkhazia. The goal was as follows:
In a short time, equip the largest number of places with traps, and catch the largest number of types of carabuses. For this purpose, traps were set in 13 places (4 on the road from Tuapse to Sochi, the rest in Abkhazia: Avadhara, Khuap, Novy Afon, Mamdzyshkha, okr. Sukhumi). Spring in Abkhazia this year is very cold and prolonged. When we arrived, there was still snow in many places, so we flew with high-altitude beetles. It was simply pointless to set traps above 1500 m.
Delivered by:
Pachycarabus koenigi Ganglbauer
Megodontus septemcarinatus Motschulsky
Sphodristocarabus janthinus dvorshaki Mandl.
Sphodristocarabus janthinus rugatus Breuning
Sphodristocarabus janthinus novotnyorum Mandl
Archiplectes starckianus starckianus Ganglbauer
Archiplectes starckianus theseus Briansky
Archiplectes satyrus duripshensis Kurnakov ?
Archiplectes reitteri gagrinus Starck
Archiplectes polychrous polychrous Rost ?
Archiplectes polychrous rousianus Gottwald
Archiplectes juenthneri avadcharensis Kurnakov
Tribax titan Zolotarev
Tribax circassicus Ganglbauer
Now write a lot about the tense situation, danger, etc.D. Don't trust anyone. Abkhazians welcome Russians as their own. In any yard, you can park your car to go for a couple of hours in the mountains. And when you get back, you'll also be fed! Nature is just awesome. You go into the boxwood and it seems-in a fairy tale got! I'm sending you some preliminary photos of nature and my modest fees (I just started sorting them out)

- Thank you for the most interesting report on the trip. I was very surprised by the forests in June.
- I want to buy photos of Abkhazia from you (without your faces) in high resolution.
"I'm sorry you didn't stop by my place or pick me up, like you were supposed to.

- I will still risk attaching a photo (although I don't get anything to insert now as before) of the captured spider, which is very similar to karakurt ("Black Widow"). A friend said that the classic karakurt has a distinctive red hourglass pattern on its belly. "This one only has two thick red dotted lines. - This discovery at the CMS is stunning for me, as a naturalist first of all. (For the second time in my life).

And what are the small tricks on the 3rd photo from the end?

This is Microplectes convallium Starck. Thank you, Andrey, I completely forgot about them.
Two subspecies were caught:
Microplectes convallium (typ.) Starck in Krasnodar Krai and Microplectes convallium argonautarum Semenov in Abkhazia.

This is only part of the fees, A. kratkyi ran quite a bit, but tsehenov had to catch with effort, 10-15 pieces were caught in half a day, there were more tribaks, but not much, the weather was not conducive to active fishing, the altitude was 2700-3000m, rain, hail, fog and so on almost all days...

Good health to all.I took the younger generation to the sea.The place is called Kabardinka, between Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk.Well,I didn't manage to wander around the mountains much (the sea, wine and children of course interfered), although I made a couple of trips on July 21 and 24 of this year.In general, the forest around Kabardinka is interesting, along the main ridge there is a pine tree planting, in some places completely dead, there is nothing to do there, but along the coast to Gelendzhik there are a number of interesting mountains covered with oak, beech, elm, cherry plum and other vegetation, all the size of a maximum of 2-4 meters and as thick as the leg of a simple entomologist, but frequent forest. It's a pity that this is the end of July,I think that in May and June it would be possible to break away there.

I returned from the Elbrus region. 3 days of rain, 3 days of sun. I didn't see any beetles at all, but during the day I saw butterflies like yazykans, yellows, and chernushkas, all in the border zone. It was difficult and inconvenient to catch. Daytime butterflies and a green horse from the Adyl-Su gorge, near the Dzhantugan alpine camp, the rest from the KBSU sanatorium, 1800 m above sea level, near the village of Elbrus. Landscapes of Baksan, Adyl-Su, Adyr-Su, Shkhelda, Azau gorges, squirrel in Nalchik itself, Caucasian rhododendron, grows in almost all gorges.
