It would have carried aAgonopterix propinquella(cm. Comment to # 24196), but with somewhat less certainty). Of the 20 species of the revised confuse some images related speciesAgonopterix laterellahttp://pathpiva.wifeo.com /agonopterix-laterella.php

19.03.2014 15:45, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #24196

Alexandr, I kept checking again and again this pic and neighbour #24196 so I looked thoroughly through all 21 Agonopterix of the Central region) Didn't find photos of only one, melancholica. Totally agree mine are not arenella. Nearly sure this is Agonopterix propinquella ...

19.03.2014 15:16, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #28018

Quite interesting found! I met this species on Japanese website, Stericta flavopuncta http://www.jpmoth.org/Pyralidae/Epipaschiinae/Stericta_flavopuncta.html. There is no Stericta in Russia according to Synev. Neither found here any species of Stericta gender (nor in Epipaschiinae, some synonyms maybe?..) Nevertherless there is actually such moth in Russia, need to clear it up)

Celypha flavipalpana perhaps? This species is distributed in Primorye and quite common.

Not ready to name the species, but this is not Archips podana.

15.03.2014 22:09, Irina Nikulina: comment on Psammotis pulveralis

Peter, then it will be necessary to change the image, showing the form - it moved to Herminiinae.

15.03.2014 22:03, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #24682

No, it's not dumetana. Still inclined toChoristoneura diversanaDuring this time looked all kinds of DV-Choristoneura, doubts have arisen about the only close to diversana type -Choristoneura evanidana

15.03.2014 20:38, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #27742

Tentatively IDed as Hypomecis punctinalis which has such discal spots, clearly seen in many pics http://britishlepidoptera.weebly.com/268-hypomecis-punctinalis-pale-oak-beauty.html or http://www.papillon-poitou-charentes.org/Hypomecis-punctinalis-Scopoli-1763,17580.html. The specimen is quite ragged though, didn't get to write.

Ziridava kanshireiensis Prout 1958. http://gaga.biodiv.tw/new23/9204/017.htm No such species here though

15.03.2014 14:36, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #8926

Please check this, I don't think this is Psammotis, rather some Herminiinae got here (and as well illustrated the species). Most likely Pechipogo strigilata, the specimen is quite ragged though, I may be wrong.

15.03.2014 14:34, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #27664

Sorry, forgot to put @( Psammotis orientalis or Psammotis pulveralis

15.03.2014 14:32, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #27664

Perhaps, Psammotis orientalis, considering geography. However, the network is almost no photos orientalis, only one on flickr (e) there was not very clear http://www.flickr.com/photos/8706930@N08/5992421693/. At the same time in the RFE and pulveralis lives. And in the article A. Streltsov, VV. Dubatolov, AM Long "New records of Lepidoptera in Bolshekhekhtsirsky ognёvkoobraznyh Reserve ...

14.03.2014 22:41, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #27246

Hypomecis phantomaria maybe (Synev)? It's called Phthonosema phantomaria on http://www.boldsystems.org, only one pic with a note this is the only specimen from Russia http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=398790 (Phthonosema also on > szmn.sbras.ru)

14.03.2014 22:22, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #27788

Indeed, it seems. Only now take a look at the spread - Europe. For the Russian Federation there is only SinevEuphydryas ichnea, and intermedia given as a synonym for it. And distribution for ichnea quite another 37 regions of presence.

14.03.2014 16:29, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #16387

Cucullia also got here somehow) Besides this is not argyrognomon but the same Plebejus argus, I reckon

Excuse me, hurried) Of course, not recens. This Far MothsCifuna locuplesshoot such bet. In the Russian Far East is represented by a subspecies Cifuna locuples confusa (Bremer, 1861). Alexandr, me too I opted turpis in the morning ) hesitating between the latter and confusa, you're right, they're quite variable... Got to not to ID and to seek more) also considering that Synev describes Sesamia genus in Primorye only.

Yury, so I did say "with some doubt". The choice is small, there are 5 species in Primorye. Agree about the colour though I also saw light brown on the web. That's why I supposed fuscescens too despite it's out in Primorye according to Synev.

23.02.2014 12:44, Irina Nikulina: comment on photo #27753

This is Paratalanta sp., tough to ID the very species. Three of 5 Primorye species look very similar. I lean to Paratalanta cultralis (ssp.P.c. amurensis (Romanoff, 1887)), two others are taiwanensis и ussurialis. Here all three http://www.jpmoth.org/Crambidae/Pyraustinae/Paratalanta.html (Yury, here as in Herpetogramma case we should neither wait for any truth ()

Herpetogramma sp. Suposing with some doubt this is Herpetogramma phaeopteralis, of 5 possible Primorye species. (Doubted about fuscescens but according to Synev it lacks in Primorye).
