I did some digging on the Internet. I found the following photo http://www.commanster.eu/commanster/Insect...merobioides.jpg. The species is called Sciara hemerobioides. Maybe the photo DSC_7051 is a representative of the Sciara genus?

Bad Den identified the 5th, not the fourth. smile.gif
Under 4 is a big enough UAV fly, maybe a blue meat fly about 2cm long.

This is something that a specialist should look at. It is quite possible and the type can be determined. You can ask my neighbor (E. A. Makarchenko) at work)))

Mottled moth (family Tephritidae)
To determine to the genus-species from a photo of this quality in my opinion is hopeless

Here is another photo, maybe it will be better, it is found on burdock, in groups:

Help me identify a fly (no more than 7mm in size):

It looks like a fly is sitting on the inflorescences of Arctium sp. On these plants, variegated bats of the genus Orellia (O. tussilaginus, O. distans) are often found. I looked at my copies - well, it looks like...
But still it would be nice to see at least the wings and large head and bristles on it....

21.02.2010 12:41, алекс 2611

Here is another photo there, maybe it will be better, it occurs on burdock, in groups:

I get the impression that these are photos of different types smile.gif
Look at the ovipositor.
The second photo reminds me of Tephritis bardanae (Schrank, 1803)
This fly also develops on burdocks (Arctium).

I first started comparing the first photo in the collection with the specimens of Tephritis bardanae. I see that the ovipositor is clearly not the same. So Aurelius started watching.
And in the second photo the ovipositor and the wing pattern are one to one like in Tephritis bardanae

In general, yes, the plant seems to be a little off-topic, here is the inflorescence:

Unfortunately, there is no good photo of the fly yet.
Thanks for the definition.

With the plant, I had no doubt - this is burdock (Arctium).
I doubt the flies

21.02.2010 17:41, Arikain

On burdocks, I often observed these flies, since I didn't see any flies anywhere else on them, some with ovipositors, some without them, but I didn't notice that the ovipositors differ, so I didn't see any differences between the flies.

21.02.2010 23:19, алекс 2611

On burdocks, I very often watched these flies, since I didn't see any flies anywhere else on them....

Come on. On bodyakas, for example, the species composition of variegated flies is much richer.

Please tell me, it is, despite the visible differences, really both lions Oplodontha viridula, as it is shown on http://macroid.ru/showgallery.php?cat=42930&mode=box
