Apparently some kind of hoodoo? We fished it out of a pond at sadovoi uch-ke yesterday. Alive - probably just fell. I tried to feed it with sow thistle and dandelion, but at night I buried myself in the ground-I decided to pupate.

This is a mine and a cocoon of Phyllonorycter quercifoliella.
The butterfly will not come out the mine is opened.
