Did you catch it yourself ? Can I specify the exact point ??

Yes, both instances themselves. This can be seen from the labels. I am already more than 100 years old (then I put all the butterflies in Tomsk). Now I label all butterflies with the surname Ovchinnikov - so that no one will guess. So here I am a cunning and long lived person

They offer this aberration from Sweden. What do you say?

What do you mean by "offer"?

16.11.2009 4:37, Yakovlev

In exchange

16.11.2009 4:38, Vlad Proklov

In exchange

Ah, philately, I see.

16.11.2009 4:42, Yakovlev

An old friend of the Swede strongly wants a bear alone and offers such a thing. And my interest in both exchange and parnassus has been weakened for a long time. I don't want to offend the old man. So I ask - how rare is this animal? He says very much!

Then I don't understand the question at all...
I'd send a bear (menetriesi or something?) -"if he wants to, let him send Apollo..."
Aberration as an aberration... Rare of course - but what's the use of that?
It's a hundred years ago such individual names were given and now what is the use of them?

16.11.2009 10:56, Guest

This is not uncommon in Sweden.

Yes, I don't have any sense, just a question arose - what kind of thing is this. After all, there are connoisseurs of Apollo and I, due to my well-known stinginess, commercialism, etc., check the situation.

Yakovlev, do you really have menetriesi ????

16.11.2009 22:07, MisterXus

P. apollo wiskotti is also not a bad thing. Change, but not to menetriesi !!!!!

16.11.2009 22:12, Yakovlev

No, menetriyoshi isn't, he's offering a couple of these apollos for a couple of alpinas. And that there are a lot of hybrids under Shebalino? I caught only three of them and was the first in the literature to give a description of this hybrid. It's really interesting. I have a feeling that I caught a hybrid of apollo and nomion in 2008.

16.11.2009 22:24, taler

I agree with MisterXus-I also had a capture of a similar hybrid in Shebalino. And Vyacheslav Tremasov, too.

I agree with both of you. This is an ordinary butterfly. But the priority of the description of this super-banal belongs to me.

Parnassius apollo regius
25.07.2002 Kazakhstan, Altai, distr. Serebrjansk, H=700m
picture: P.apollo_2.gif
A huge request to correct if I made a mistake with the subspecies!
And another question: maybe who knows what subspecies of apollo in Georgia (Upper Svaneti), not ciscaucasicus?

this subspecies, and probably quite justifiably called regius Lukhtanov. it differs from the Central Altai by its larger size and very bright females-see photo.
In Svaneti so for memory there seems to be a subspecies svaneticus

Already fixed it! And on Svaneti, maybe someone has other opinions!? You can also go to the "personal account".

Anyone interested in P. inopinatus inopinatus and P. inopinatus mutingi, welcome )))

28.11.2009 14:55, Yakovlev

have our people started traveling to Afghanistan? how is it, normally, not shooting?

according to my data, this is while Ivy and Puck have distinguished themselves. But the inopinatuses are not their doing.
According to their reviews, it is very difficult. And I believe them. Complete absence of night-time participation in fees.
Traditionally, many butterflies come from Afghan dealers from Afghanistan. You can drive. But I think it's more dangerous than in Tuva.

Night flights from Afghanistan are quite rare. I only once saw on Bursa, Frankfurt it seems, some mattresses scoop from Afghanistan. They were collected locally, but there was nothing interesting there.

28.11.2009 18:58, Yakovlev

But Aidas sent me some lovely cossids from Afghanistan. also local caught. We are getting out of the topic of Parnassus. we will be beaten by Bolivar.

29.11.2009 0:58, Bad Den

Where to find them, these Afghan dealers. And then from there only heroin still comes in large quantities

29.11.2009 15:17, RippeR

Naturally, who will deal with butterflies there, if heroin is more expensive, you don't need to run after it, you don't need to look for it, it's available, etc., etc.)) Yes, and American soldiers don't need butterflies ))
