svm2, and from the beetles that flew?

There were beetles, but I don't know much about them, I was asked to take barbels and goldfinches-these were definitely not there.

Hello, gentlemen.Several days in a row I go to the forum.Something's been a bit slow with fishing and interesting finds in the last few weeks, and there's nothing to read on the board...
For "babochnikov" dilute dryness mini-report:
- at night 2.06.2007 I fished for quartz near Kiev (Boryspil district), I changed three fishing points during the night(since the car and generator allow me to travel).Interesting facts:
- Hyles livornica-apparently from the stray 1st generation,
-2 copies. Laothoe populi,
- Smerinthus ocellatus,
- Deilephila elpenor,
- Arctija villica,
-3 males of the brush moth Pygaera anastomosis-a rather rare species,
- large scoop Mythimna turca,
- several males of Boarmia roboraria.
I was hoping to catch the crested harpies vinula and erminea, but alas...
While fishing in Kiev, colleagues caught on the same day near Kharkiv(40 km) one hawk moth MARUMBA QUERCUS !!! It was a wet night after a rainstorm.
We went there on Wednesday, June 6, but there was a sharp cold snap to 10-12 degrees, and we did not catch any oak hawks. The arrival of an o-o-huge female Laothoe populi(11 cm in span),several Boarmia, and L-nigrum waves was a consolation. There was nothing to take a photo of...
I would add Crimean photos, but they don't seem to be attached.
Sincerely, Alexander Dronov.

Finally rolled out somewhere.
I went to Kapriany and Leushany.
First, we braked in Capriany, which resulted in about 6 innocently killed maculinei alcon, a pair of satyrium acacia, a pair of cupido minimus, a pair of argyrognomons.
Then we went to Leushany, we thought there would be more alcons, but we did.. Just a couple.. But I took there Thymelicus lineola and sylvestris, 1 acacia, 4 cupido minimus, 1 coenonymph arcania (others were beaten, like other coenonymphs), 1 rapa, 1 Leptidea synapis
Decided that there was nothing to look for and returned to Capriany, caught another dozen alcones, 1 shabby kallophris, 1 bellargus, 1 see Argiades.
below is a photo from Kapriyan:

"If only Ripper would write that he still fell into the traps for barbels."
I've already written about the first set of traps, but I haven't checked the second frown.gifone yet..
lol.gif

The following species fell into these traps: Cerambyx scopolii, Phymatodes testaceus, Rhagium sycophanta, Rhagium mordax, Liocola lugubris , Potosia cuprea. Besides, it's the same thing in different places .And I would like to know at least theoretically, what else can you expect?

18.06.2007 18:52, RippeR

Well, actually, I'm pretty much all the same.. Mordaxi were not found, as well as lugubris (only fieberi), Ropalopus macropus and cetonia aurata were also found.
I'll go down soon, check it out, and report the results.
Danilevsky writes that the Purpuricenuses are coming. Then some other shit should go.. Maybe it depends on the composition or location??
Have you played in different locations or similar ones??
Here is my friend in the soil with the same composition, put near an old stump caught a large zlatka (I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know what kind)

23.06.2007 23:02, RippeR

Today - Leushany.
The weather was fine in the morning, and we managed to fish just as much as we needed, because then a sandstorm started smile.gif
There were: argirognomon, idas, levana (1), paphia, lathonia (all battered), a lot of melitaea, in my opinion 2 species, maybe more or less, all battered (most likely 1 of the species is aurelia); semiargus (I didn't catch it myself, but they said they were good females), Maculinea alcon (almost all battered, but there were not bad females and even a couple of normal males), quite thick-headed-mostly Ochlodes sylvanus, there were others, but nothing special, and also not in the best condition; a bunch of cabbage leaves, of which almost all were battered and broken, too it's the same with other white women, except for the crooks - there were good shots.. There were also satyrs-eyes and bull's-eyes-perfect females flew, and the males were mostly broken. Also a bunch of pestryanok and lzhepestryanok..
Well, the best part-1 large pandora with flaws frown.gifIt has small gaps in the wings.. Then Meliageria daphnis, of which there were only males, but most were perfect.. And then, for what in general the trip was arranged - Maculinea arion! They took off too early this year.. If last July 1-2, most of them were good, then this year almost all, except for a few, were already battered and broken.. Only a few were perfect.. Nevertheless, they were, and I am happy with my captures.. Here are a couple of photos - the general area, the places where the daphnis were (well, arions nearby) and I with Shastik smile.gif

~2 hours ago, Razeny
Hot, strong wind, generally cool, but tired smile.gif
first about the women: 1 melitea didyma (I catch it for the first time in Moldova), 2 Pyrgus - 1 like serratula, another like armoricanus, 1 colias crocea, the rest is nonsense-paphias, sappho, banal pigeons, yurtins, a couple of broken galatas, fresh snappers in the mass well, and other nonsense
Bugs: 1 coriaceus was eating a female deer, and another female was crawling along.. a lot of different small things in the manure, + a little copra, I did not find barbels like strangalina attenuata and stenurella sepyempuntata, which I wanted to find, apparently I was too late, since I did not find the necessary flowers. I was looking for potosy hungarik, but the thistle is no longer the same-it's a little dry and bespontovat and not suitable, apparently.. But! For a long time I rummaged in the omna, rummaged through a bunch of tortillas, just a huge amount, each more or less fresh, etc. And yet I found some of my own! At first, I accidentally noticed 1 spiniger, almost missed it, and on the way back I took it thoroughly and started digging everything that got in my way and dug 2 more.. I have enough, I am satisfied smile.gif
All, now do not disturb,
went to sleep

As for the "spinigers" I caught
, after reviewing them more carefully, I found out that they were not spinigers. I looked at the front shins and PDF Nikolaev. In general, the spiniger's lower legs are narrow all over and have 2 ribs from the inside, these same ones have 1 rib inside Tulko.. i.e. the very edge of the lower leg.. more precisely, if you describe it, it is easier to look at the stercorosus.. the only thing that is 100% not sterkorosy..
What is similar, similar?

I went to Ukraine, tried to help out in my spare time... A total of 70-80 species, mostly "small things", and that's a shame almost everything that is found in our north. There were almost no barbels - 4 flower species-L. livida, St. melanura, bifasciata, quadrifasciata. Plates, too, the cat did not cry, only smelly bronze in the mass. And so Liocola marmorata, Aphodius fossor, A. fimetarius, some kind of crunch, close to our June (not yet determined) and no southern dung beetles. In general, some kind of misunderstanding, and not fees. But, however," their " xylobionts picked up...

Who is going to the Crimea, know that everything is burnt out, it is very hot (there is no rain for about a month, and t from June =35-39 gr.) and the weather resembles the end of August. By the way, this will have a negative effect on insects.

08.07.2007 13:36, RippeR

Razens.
The heat, the grass all burned out. Horror. There are almost no flowers.
Accordingly, there were almost no beetles.. Tolko one small deer at the entrance to the forest.
There weren't many butterflies either, but there smile.gifwere Hamearis, phleas Licinae, broken paphiae, sappho, a couple of croceae, a couple of chiales, a couple of lichens, and a bit of other nonsense.
The only thing I liked - 5 years old Hipparchia fagi, took 2 pieces. Satyrium dryas was still a few years old-I caught 1 male, but I just hatched, apparently, because the wings were still too soft.

In the Crimea, it seems like it rained over the weekend - I didn't watch it at all. I hope the critical situation has disappeared? By the way, I'm going there in a week, and okoem scared me with estivation. Where do daytime butterflies usually hide when it's hot?

08.07.2007 18:26, Zhuk

Where do daytime butterflies usually hide when it's hot?

Pigeons in the shade, hiding under the trees. I just saw it in the Crimea. There were still some tall grasses growing on which they were sitting. A swing of a net and 20 butterflies in it smile.gif.

In Ukraine, I was in Ternopil, and from xylobionts I collected several species of bark beetles, false grasshoppers, one species of Eucnemidae, two-Salpingidae, Ciidae, Erotylidae Mordellidae.
While waiting for a train to Ukraine, I reached Vorobyovy Gory in Moscow and spent a little less than an hour picking through the dead trees. Bottom line: Aulonium trisulcum, Corticeus bicolor, Ernoporus tiliae, Scolytus multistriatus, S. scolytus (?). The latter species is only female, so M. b.and S. sulcifrons. On the way to the Kiev railway station on the Berezhkovskaya Embankment, I found a hearth of ash narrow-leaf beetle, but there were no beetles. only a bunch of exit holes, the bark was not stripped, because there was a bus stop nearby and a lot of people.

Oh, how they flowed!!!!!!

I also went out today - as always in Razeny. Thought to catch Hipparchia fagi, but kukish, saw only 2, but they quickly fled into the thicket of fags. I caught 1 dryas, a couple of terzites females, and 1 battered daphnis.
And z Zhukov full 0.. Well, except for 1 banal ground beetle and 1 banal bystryanka. The grass is burning out, everything is emptying, complete horror.
But I put as many as 6 traps for carbuses lol.gif

I visited Turkey and was enriched with four new species-Leucania loreyi, Chersotis laeta, Catocala conversa and a couple (male and female) of Lampides boeticus. Everything else is just like theirs. After priuzda pulled for the night, but the weather failed

From 28.06 to 29 Cherkassy region near the village of Chubovka t. N49°13,294’,
E32°12,862’. Here in 2003 02.08 the whole screen was in hera and only caught here at the end of August in different years Od. Dumetata. Fishing gear below.
picture: IMG_0999.jpg
This time it rained all night, but there were plenty of butterflies for this weather. Moth species of smaragdaria, S. rubiginata, and I. ochrata flew en masse; single moth species of Ascotis and other common background moth flew. The scoop is small-A. putris, E. trabealis,E. minutata, H. bicolorana, H. octogtnaria, P. candidula - all of them are one or two specimens.Among the others, H. pyritoides is very fresh and D. ancilla is not very fresh. Lots of micros.During the day, the usual set-io, cardui, dia, argus, lycaon, hyperantus and so on-had nothing to take.

From 14.07 to 15 Kiev region. Near the village of Khodorov T. N49°55.663’, E31°15.330’. Again from 12 to one heavy rain.
picture: IMG_0981.JPG
picture: IMG_0997.jpg
This time, even the hawk moth was visited-poplar, eye and two pine-let go with God. Among others-single Euthrix potatoria, Nola aerugula, Noctuidae-H. octogtnaria ?, P. candidula, A, ipsilon, M, persicariae, about 10 fairly fresh H. Irregularis-I chose a couple. Geometridae-massively Thalera fimbrialis-took a decent female, single ones-M. notata, T. arenacearia, D. betularia, A. selenaria, I. ochrata and other common, T. or.
During the day-all the same usual set-there were no dia and argus instead of them, shabby decoloratuses flew and a massive number of dryads, I have never seen such a number anywhere else-I took a decent female. It's a male
picture: IMG_0996.jpg

Quite a lot of scoops-T. luctuosa, E. trabtalis, H. peltigera-but none of them came to light, they usually fly. This is what I had with C. pomissa -I scared it off literally after 10 meters, and not one flew to the light, although in the collection of names it is light-colored.

Today. Razens again. Heat in the shade - 42.. in the Sun can not be determined, as the thermometer rolls over smile.gif
I followed Hipparchia fagi and checked the traps.. And then 2 failures. 1-no hints of fig, i.e. phage. 2-all traps, and there were only 6 of them picked out, dogs
But caught 1 dryas, there was a massive summer kuerkusii kuerkus (they are found in MO? otherwise, I will bring smile.gifthem), although most of them are podlomovatye, frown.gifbut also good ones are a little udaloch. smile.gif
Poked around in kola-kao, found 3 geotrups-1 or 2 spi Niger, and 1-2 strange ones, respectively (in Moscow, we will determine who is special there??)
I found 1 brown praying mantis, which indicates that in this heat not only the grass burns lol.gifout

What's more dangerous than a tarantula?

05.08.2007 17:15, sealor

Yes, well, in poisonous plants and animals it is, but it says that the poison is not strong. Probably weaker than a tarantula, and from the spiders keyserlingi et bruennichi I don't know if I wrote it correctly or not, so it doesn't even swell at all!
