cleobis, tell me, was Acossus terebra caught recently, i.e. in September-late August?

06.09.15 23.00 Moscow time to the light, he first reminded me of Poecilocampa populi, a sort
of overgrowth, eight times more, the wings are black, translucent and the"head"
is gray. I decided that I had a glitch. It was +9C steam was coming and the sky was starry, that's what lies on the cotton wool next to it-that's all that flew in.

Hello everybody!
I feel that there will be questions, and I will answer them:
Griposia aprilina caught on 22.08.15 in the vicinity of Luga, Leningrad region, blown up by the Germans during the retreat, Count's estate of the Polovtsev Princes "Rapti", 58°39'45"N 29°52'40" E in the afternoon on the bark of an oak tree in oak alley. (The oak tree is shown in the photo.)

Acossus terebra was born on 06.09.15 in the village of Chashcha, Gatchinsky district, Leningrad region. 59°05'59"N 30°25'42"E

In the photo, where the tall " burdocks "are white - tailed beetles, growing in the same estate" Rapti", was probably planted by the owners, the princes Polovtsev. I didn't even bend down for filming !

Today, it seems to have been warm.I quickly drove to pesochki in Zhukovsky district, Kaluga region. There's a type of sand dune on the border of a pine forest and a floodplain.Arrived at 14-20, life in the heat was in full swing.I was surprised by the huge number of tahini flies of different colors.Grasshoppers run, dragonflies and butterflies fly.I caught eardrums and flies, looked at the German wasps and their males, took riders for Sychev S. S., saw good ktyr and a large wasp, I can catch them tomorrow. In promising places, I put soil, pcs-20. At 16-30 it became overcast,I was struck by the abundance of mosquitoes-when collecting buttercups, they simply ate their daughter and spouse.Catch photoIMG_6661.JPG

Maxim, look at the leaf beetle - by any chance Galeruca interrupta? Most likely pomonae, but what if.

Penza region, Sura River floodplain (near the station) Sura), a grass steppe... at night, they caught bats and caught tapeworms... A new method of catching large lepidoptera is obtained...

Seryoga-report to the Belarusian studio, but the Germans-there are???...I have a big OP in the Kaluga region so far with German women. After that, I visited the above places today.Weather class. Many did not take, although they flew.It turns out badly when I saw it, roughly determined the need, and only then you start to catch it-it's already gone....Luchce left the house with a stain...In addition, I found a residential pine-2 zlatki and blestyanki, but I need to catch it there with a secret device-Sergukha saw it at work. The sly ktyr again avoided the stain-he saw him once, but did not immediately identify him....The soil ones are already working-there are no nemocs yet,but they do not grow in flocks.Photo of the catch.IMG_6662.JPG

pomonae 10000% is simply no one else to be. I've never seen a red skeleton, not even from the broods. meadow-steppe species, more xerophilic and mesophilic (in the conditions of the Middle Russian....and blah - blah) beetles appear in late summer and early autumn, single specimens were noted by me in early July, but this is rather an exception. other types are out of the question, because they are more southerly, smaller, etc. and tp

17-18. 09 I was at my dacha in the Kasimov district of the Moscow region. The weather was clear and sunny, the daytime temperature reached 28 degrees! I went to check out the Lemonia dumi station discovered last year in one of the meadows near the Oka River. On the 17th, the males flew at breakneck speed from 11 to 14, barely took a couple. After 14, the females went. I put one female in a jar with grass stalks and she made several clutches. The next day, despite the gorgeous weather, the butterflies almost did not fly. During the observation, I saw only a couple of males, both flying. I think that the years are already ending, this year, apparently, started earlier.

Camp, installation and place where the sun shines. The first two nights were very warm and the flight was not bad. Then it rained and got noticeably colder, which greatly affected the activity of insects.

On the final night, the sun shone in the area of Bolkhunov. It's warm, overcast, and a freaky arrival, mostly grasshoppers and scoops.I haven't seen such biomass on the screen yet. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of this madness.
Everything that I caught that night had to be photographed in Zhukovsky, because in the morning it started to rain and we had to rush to the ferry in a hurry. In general, they got out of the island with great difficulty.

I drove to Kumysnaya Polyana today. I took a walk. I got some fresh air. I fished for locusts to feed the spiders.

Then he sifted Formica rufa anthills, as well as litter, leaf litter and tree rot. There was a good myrmicophilic sycamore Euconnus maklinii (Mannerheim, 1844) with a length of 1.2 mm (thanks to Fornax for the definition), as well as a couple of athete-like staffs and some other phylontus. Otherwise, it is not dense, solid Helvig scidmenus (a super massive species, hundreds of them fall out of a sieve) and Corticaria longicollis (I took 3 specimens). I got a pair of Aleochara tristis from the old traps.

By the way, interestingly, in the anthill Formica rufa found other ants, some small, with very shiny covers, probably Formicoxenus nitidulus. A kind of anthill in an anthill. Interesting. Got another 5 pieces of myrmicophilic pseudoscorpions, threw them in alcohol, like someone needed them ...

Sorry fotik forgot(((

Someone's not my spizzo.I decided to write it now.26.09. Sergukha and I decided to go for a ride-to check the soil in a secret quarry, near Kaluga, which we set a week ago-the goal is to check this biotope for os-nemok.No Germans were caught, but a few beetles still drowned...And the variety of drowned people was a little pleased. There wasn't much time to look around and fly in,and it was decided to quickly get to the old pine forest, where German women should run along the fire ditches... along with the ants...As a result,I did not find any Germans, but on the stumps I was sitting and waiting for me a fair number of ktyrei 3x species, and not very frequent in our area, especially black ones at the bottom, wasps flew-they also had to be taken.I attach a photo of the mattress. The season is still ongoing.Riders took Sychevus. S., he can not do without them....IMG_6677.JPG

"Red" ktyri-Choerades ignea (Meigen, 1820) - they are not rare, they just fly only in autumn, but in general should be common, and black below-Andrenosoma atrum (Linnaeus, 1758). Well, there is also one of the gray ones - Tolmerus atricapillus (Fallen, 1814).

In Belarus, in July and August, you caught very similar Choerades gilva (Linnaeus, 1758), and ignea is an autumn group, and they will meet again in October. Maybe you have a photo of ktyrei from under Borisov, at least in general look, maybe something interesting caught? I would be very grateful to you.

Here are the straightened ones from the Republic of Belarus. There are several more species on mattresses, I caught them on the Borisov-Zhodino power line, along the edge of the pine forest, gibbose was already small and finally disappeared, I saw a female much larger than the male(4 cm) - just a monster and a gob-in my opinion a hornet...IMG_6681.JPG

I went to Kumysnaya Polyana today. The temperature is +28.

Yes, that's right, I sifted through the anthills again. Very successful! At least 3 new types of naseyal! These are scidmenidae Euconnus sp. and Cephenium sp., as well as a couple of cheerful palps Euplectes sp.
In addition, I picked up some "myrmicophilic ants" from Formicoxenus nitidulus, which may come in handy.

Under the fallen trees scored ocipusov, when I took it, it seemed that they have a blue head and pronotum, and now I looked-black ((
