Dear and who are you? It wouldn't be bad to know who I'm bothering.
If people tell me to move, I'll do it.
Further, the dispute on this issue is no longer developed. Don't want.
Sincerely.

The more empty chatter about butterfly distribution sites and development posts with a small number of photos, the faster and easier each page loads. So go ahead, Gennadich))

So what Gennadich publishes, this is the most interesting thing in the Ministry of Defense. And so why are there reports describing the number of xanthomelas that have flown by read

20.08.2016 18:28, andr_mih

You're completely wrong to ignore the Xanthomelas, Mr. Ostap. One seasoned perizimovavshiysya xanthomelas is much more pleasing to us than hundreds of these gooseberries of your leafworms, which hang from trees everywhere, and so strive for the collar to ripen smile.gif
My suggestion above remains valid: why can't the description of the development of a particular butterfly species be moved to the appropriate topic, provided with cross-references if necessary?

21.08.2016 22:49, коты

So what kind of leaf wrapper is this? This is a scoop, and judging by the caterpillar, so generally a moth )

22.08.2016 rechecked pigeons in the " valley of the river Setun "(the area between Starovolynskaya St., Minskaya St. and the river Setun), argiad and dispar are not extinct yet, males of the third generation fly: argiad luxury rare, dispar slightly flown single. Such a small number inspires hope. The rest is commonplace for this point (by the way, the male pathia is still quite decent, although the species has been flying there for a month). From the banal, however, there is no daplidice / edusa, although at this time in other years it flew.

In the vicinity of Ramenskoye on the evening of 18.08.2016, a male rhino lux and two scoops of icteritia came to the light (cloud cover is zero, the moon is half the sky), nothing more.

Well lured! And what is the composition of the wonderful mixture? I would like to try it!

This year I tried 4 types of bait: 1 unfiltered wheat beer+sugar; 2-melon core and sugar; 3-assorted withered fruits (nectarine, apricot, peach, grape, apple, plum)+water+sugar; 4-narsharab (sauce based on pomegranate juice). The first three are in a well-fermented state. These compositions were applied with a paint brush on four trunks separated from each other by a meter and a half. As a result, the melon core won in catchability by a large margin. On the second place - fruit assortment, on the third and fourth respectively narsharab and beer.
I also tried dry red wine, if my memory serves me correctly Chilean (?) A cabernet that suddenly swayed, possibly due to the heat, towards the vinegar. But it was mainly diptera that flew at it, and I refused it.
I know that many people will consider this a waste of time and pampering, but it was interesting to try!)

UPD: By "melon core" I mean the contents of the seed nest-the placenta and the seeds themselves.

Now, apparently, they can. But if someone had told me about it 10 years ago , I wouldn't have believed it for anything.

This year, the mantis was also found in Pirogovo (Mytischinsky district), in Fryazino and Buzhaninovo.

On August 20-22, we went with Gennadich to Lishnyagi, moving to Tugolesye on the night of 23, and on the night of 24, fishing on the peat bog in Poplar. Immediately about the overlying discussion - in Lishnyag mantises were above the roof, another flew to the light on the peat bog. Upon arrival in Lishnyagi, it was overcast, moderately warm and humid, and in this weather we went to explore the surrounding area, finding in the process a single Triphosa dubitata in the grotto, photogenic Eublemma purpurina in the grass, pink leafwort Cochylis ?flaviciliana and the weevil Cyphocleonus dealbatus, and a tornado-battered pine tree caught a lot of bark beetles Ips sexdentatus. There was nothing particularly interesting from the diaries, except for the battered corydons and a few more recent daphnis, and Lemonia taraxaci also seems to have escaped from me. By night, the weather cleared up, but the humidity was still there, so it came out very foggy (the other side of the Strip was gone by the end of the night) and the years were not so hot. I'm talking about butterflies, but with hornets, everything was more than normal - probably about a hundred pieces arrived, we killed two-thirds, then we got tired, especially after one of them stung Gennadich. (I was much more lucky - the only hornet on the entire trip bumped into me in the Woodlands (there was only one of them), satisfied with either a single prick (or non-beating?), or even a bite). However, hornets weren't the only ones in the Hornets who wanted to stick something sharp and filled with venom into the hapless entomologist. There were medium-sized spiders crawling in the grass with huge chelicerae that looked suspiciously like Cheiracanthium punctorium! The most interesting find of the night was the scoop Saragossa siccanorum, and Aphodius also came ?Agrilinus rufus. The next day we came across the beetles Monochamus galloprovincialis and Harmonia quadripunctata. The night turned out to be warm, even if we were briefly spooked by the wind breaking the screens from a nearby thunderstorm, but there was nothing interesting, except for Galeria mellonella, a suspicious Nycteola, and a battered Phlogphora methiculosa. Therefore, the next day we relocated to Tugolesye (as it turned out, the shortest way there from Lishnyag passes through as many as five district centers - Serebryanyye Prudy, Zaraysk, Lukhovitsy, in the detour of Kolomna, Yegoryevsk and Shatura). In Zaraysk, an ancient Kremlin was suddenly discovered, approximately the same age as Nizhny Novgorod)) Arriving in Tugolesye and spending about 30-45 minutes each wandering through the forest with the collection of mushrooms, we gathered them on a small frying pan ( see below) - mostly podberezoviki and buttermilk, white and chanterelles for taste. We turned on two lamps, one of which was a beater, in the clearing, a lot of Xylena solidaginis came, one Staurophora celsia (finally!!!), an ant lion (judging by the KKMO, Myrmyleon bore), Galeria mellonella and perhaps that's all. Once caught, we immediately drove to Poplar through thick fogs. The next night on the moor was warm and humid (but not foggy), and the most successful of all. Unexpectedly, the background view turned out to be a rare Mesogona oxalina. One or two Xylena solidaginis have arrived, and one Staurophora celsia, probably new to the area Phragmatiphila nexa, very suspicious Chilodes (still more similar to maritima in hind wings), Globia algae,?Spaelotis ravida, Mythimna albipuncta and Psorosa ?nucleolella. Agrochola lota and Rhizedra lutosa took off very early. Quite unexpectedly, it turned out that in the Poplar Forest itself, the wind was weak, and nothing interesting appeared at all. Below I give a list of interesting things, the location of the find is indicated in parentheses (L for Lishnyag, B for Tugolesya and T for Poplar).

According to the only photo of the first one on the Internet, it seems that it is very short. http://lepidoptera.crimea.ua/1400_Tortrici...ma_agnatana.htm And our long-wings, we even called them Pelochrists at first. Is Fitzitina gray from the Lichens at the very top detectable?

I'm even ready to do this - poperenosit (duplicate) in the appropriate topics, if I have the rights for this and info from Gennadich, and then all the posts to search for on the forum will probably be long.

Shone on September 3 on the peat bog in Poplar.
Thank you to Gennadich for the help and the point!

In general, the flight is bad, even on the mallets-heavy fog and cold weather.
I scored a good series of rhizedra lutosa - there were a lot of them, fresh.
Lots of photedes fluxa.
One nonagria typhae.
Lots of agrochola circellaris.
Two agrochola lota.
Two conistra rubiginea.
Five pieces of xanthia togata.
One is celaena haworthii.
