Why so? See http://yutaka.it-n.jp/dan/30160010.html http://yutaka.it-n.jp/dan/30150010.html Look at the discal spot, which is a diagnostic feature. The rest features suit as well.

05.02.2013 3:06, Eugene Karolinskiy: comment on photo #20718

Coenia is from that very hood, but there are plenty of local Junonia in Southeast Asia. Are you sure that was coenia? Never heard of coenia's acclimatization.

Definitely not canidia. Imho, Appias sp., can't name the species. Two neighbour photos are the same case.

04.02.2013 4:17, Eugene Karolinskiy: comment on photo #20718

Dryas iulia, neotropical species. By the way, this one has already settled in Thailand, supposedly after fled from one of such butterfly gardens (why do they even exist???:))

Elymnias hypermnestra.

04.02.2013 4:11, Eugene Karolinskiy: comment on photo #20628

Imho, in such case we'd better say Leptidea sp. Or combine two species in one page. Or have it as L. sinapis complex, they use this at times. What to do when these species can't be identified by appearance only.
