Alkon pigeons flew out, flying everywhere on limestone slopes, although the gentian cross this time could not be found, it grows in single specimens.
Butterflies are not very numerous, few mother-of-pearl. Sappho is still a first-generation flutterer. There were argus pigeons, Eumedon females, buckthorn whales, and blackthorn caudates. Fire chervonets are displayed. Galatea begins to fly, Iperantha's eyes and oxeye.

1. I've never seen so much-Colorful elm (Coronilla varia L.) just impenetrable thickets...

We always had their appearance in the region in the middle of July... and then on June 26... but judging by the presence of females, they came out even earlier!!? I wonder if this species has a second generation in the South??
3. Caught a female giant scolia previously, they were celebrated for PO in mid-July...

Yesterday, along the way, I decided to drive to the floodplain of the river.Oka,in the district of the village.Ferzikovo.The weather is good, it's warm-even hot,I got to the Koltsovo agricultural complex,and I can't understand why the fields are either burning or standing like after spring fires, it turns out there is a new way of farming-the fields are under steam-overgrown,then, after all the greenery has grown,it is etched, and after it dries up, it is specially set on fire....It turns out that plowing and sowing later is easier and more productive.Honestly speaking, I was very upset, because such methods of farming can be applied throughout Russia and the world?!!!!!

We've been doing this for the last five years. In our district, almost the entire floodplain of the Zelvyanka
River was burned like this.

Today I drove in the direction of Serpukhov, Moscow region, without a specific goal, just walk along the edges, look at the flowers, poperevarachivat logs, and the final point is the Oka River floodplain, check for near-water beetles.Everything went according to plan and without miracles.I was surprised by the absence of beetles on the umbrella, in any case-a small number,but there is still a good honeybee-linden, and it is in the very color,and probably many people eat there.There was an interesting moment-on the bank of the Oka I turned over all the garbage and pieces of wood and found some khlenius,and when I disturbed him, he ran not towards the shore, but towards the water and jumped into the mud and climbed under the water very quickly, and I couldn't catch him, because apparently he They can also run underwater at a decent speed,and frankly,I didn't expect them to be able to run underwater!

Yesterday (6. VII. 14) again went to the ROC. op. 799 km. I really liked the place!

Just like 2 weeks ago - lots of flowers. Borbash carnation also blooms. But last time there was no one on it, and this time I finally picked up the Sibinia subelliptica series. It remains to find 2 more types of sibinias!)
"Our Far Easterner" came across a false bed of Exechesops foliatus Frieser, 1995, and again mowed down from the grass, and on the Tatar maple growing next to it - zero. I also took a series of Pseudorchestes smreczynskii (Dieckmann, 1958), as well as the violet weevil Orobitis cyanea, in the complete absence of violets as such!

It's not about productivity, but about minimizing the cost of agricultural production. We went with B. Coleopter in the direction of the Tula region,to the Tula zaseki, to see those edges, and catch gmorimus nobilis, even Dima found out the point.While we were driving, we checked all the flowers along the road,arrived at a well-known point and saw that there was a problem with the flowers there-there are no new ones..We walked through the forest, separately I must say-the forest is fantastic, linden and maple trees up to 40 meters are not uncommon,there is practically no undergrowth,and even in the heat it is cool there.In the relief there are madder ridges, up to 100 m. high, on the tops of everywhere settling down, krasata ....Nothing came to the light, because of the brutal full moon and strong wind.In addition, 2 stenokorusa females were caught in the surveillance, and I still caught 1ekz.gmorimusa,apparently this year there are very few of them.We also looked at several promising places - with oaks and middle-aged forest,but there were no gmos there.Impressions remained good, despite the failure with gmos.We drove 680 km in 2 days

Today I drove through the places where soil traps were installed,they stood for 7 days.On the Protva River,some birds or small animals constantly get more floating beetles and probably try to eat them,some are just thrown outside,by the way,the birds apparently suffer from what they ate,I saw the dead???, there the same hunters unearthed someone's hole and filled up some of the traps, it's a shame-they stood for a whole week...On the R. Oka, where there are traps, people bathe-darkness, somewhere in the bushes checked calmly, and in prominent places-straight already dumb...There, at the end of the sandbar, in addition to the dams,some small-5-6 mm, steel-colored beetles run around, which are not caught in traps,and when manually collected, they jump up and fly away collectively, so when I caught them, 10 people came up,and when I went to the car, almost everyone who was on the way asked-And what is it you were doing there so enthusiastically-something for fishing caught!!??..I had to agree with them and answer-Yes, for fishing,but what I caught is a secret!!!!And I will put these ground beetles in the definition, after straightening.

I'm probably the only one who goes anywhere else

I made a joint trip together with the botanists of the SSU Botanical Garden. We examined the riverbed of the Bolshoy Uzen River from the village of Dmitrievka (Novouzensky district) to the village of Orlov Gai (Yershovsky district). The goal is to search for a rare aquatic plant, the curled water buttercup (Batrachium circinatum).
Along the way, I collected insects, but the fees are very modest. On the shore, the usual types of runners and philonts were found. On dry grass, I mowed down a couple of good grinders of the Lasioderma genus, as well as some bystryanki, fleas and humpbacks.
