Dear colleagues, please help me determine who is who.

At 0440, I can't figure out if this is one view with such color variability or if there is still-orbona, -interposita or-comes

In 0443 (upper) - Parastichtis obscura f. remissa ???

In 0445 and 0446 - one view-pronuba ???

Thank you in advance smile.gif

Everything is prepared in the Kiev region, the village of Kazin.

And all indications of Z. trifolii for Russia are wrong, as K. A. Efetov found out-this is a Western European spring species, which probably exists in the Kaliningrad region.

And that there is not enough clover in Russia!!! eek.gif

kotbegemot: Dear Vladislav, please tell me if there is a chance to meet in the Moscow region (Ramensky, Odintsovo districts) a caterpillar of the Beech Fork-tail (Stauropus fagi L.)?????

Already in Odintsovo district I personally catch S. fagi in the light. This is a rather banal butterfly that flies from the 2nd decade of May to the 3rd decade of June.
The caterpillar is best bred by catching the female.

And then they don't want to define it there! They are silent!!! frown.gif  weep.gif

They are silent, because, first of all, it is simply impossible to identify many caterpillars from the photo. Secondly, there are not so many experts on caterpillars. On this forum, as far as I can tell, there is simply no person who purposefully deals with caterpillars.

Not comes, orbona/interposita are very similar, to suggest something you need to look at the drawing of the front fenders, you can see here
http://www.noctuidae.de/page/hauptseite/index.html
Specify when and where they are caught, this helps in the definition .

Thanks!
I think 2 is a different view. First, it is not yellow, but the color of hay, a little smaller, the wings are a little more even and elongated. Sororkulas have blackish wings on the bottom, while this one smile.gifhas haymaking and small black dots on the upper wings are visible, though poorly. At the same time, the difference in money is almost 2 months.

by the pound.fu is similar to uniola
In the fact that it is not faded.. It was like that, just 1 wing was bent down and it didn't work out well to bend it, at the same time it was slightly rubbed.. I just straightened it 2 days ago.

By the way, on the photo number 3 in my opinion lurideola??? Her wings are more rounded, and the 2nd headstock on the edge, near the fringe, has a yellowness that the first one does not have??
