Judging by the presented page, compilations from all over the world predominate here, and not from Russia at all. And we spit on such global generalizations. Then it turns out in other kr. books that oak marshmallows are "on hazel", and birch - "on birch".

Does the book contain original data? What is their approximate percentage?

I wonder what are the feed names for Euclidia mi and Grammodes stolida?

Very useful book. But the chestnut mining moth feeds on chestnuts, maples, maiden grapes and (I forgot). From the enumeration, it is difficult to understand what is the main object for it...

It is also important whether there is a given plant in Russia. And then there will be work, let's say, on Ts. Russia, and among the fodder plants will be named some beech, or even baobab.
Then, there is a lot of work with the results of feeding caterpillars at home. And so "appear" in many species imaginary "polyphagia". After all, in nature, females lay eggs they know where (often very fastidiously), and at home the caterpillar and semolina porridge can starve to eat.
Finally, regional and local populations often have a limited range of forage plants. In central Russia, a species can be an obligate monophage, and in the Caucasus or Spain, it can also be an oligophage. And then from global compilations, if they do not contain reservations by region - one harm!

A new book has been published: Chikolovets V., Nekrutenko Yu. Day butterflies of the Caucasus and Transcaucasia". The book is dedicated to the memory of Yuri Pavlovich.
For each species, the book contains references to the original descriptions, a detailed bibliography, and a map with points of discovery. In addition, there are new sites of finds and a very brief biology.
On the color tables - photos of butterflies with a label. Lots of photos of standard instances.
At the end of the book there is an English version of the history of studying the fauna of the Caucasus from Nekrutenko 1990.
The book contains almost no systematic comments, no comparative characteristics or drawings of genitalia.
A4 format.

It is interesting to see the number of interested users. If I publish the price, I won't find out. In addition, the price will ultimately depend significantly on the place of delivery, and the cost of delivery will depend on the number of books in the package.

Are you saying that the price of a book depends on the number of interested people, i.e. the more interested people, the lower the price, and vice versa-the higher???

No, I'm curious about the ratio of those who ask the price and those who buy.

it doesn't make sense. the price of the book is a mystery... Well, I won't even think about it then.

(I'm not critical of this book, but if it wasn't very expensive, maybe I would have bought it. but what kind of nonsense is this when you can't even find out the base price?!).

The plantago library has recently published a survey of the burrowing wasp fauna in Kazakhstan, well illustrated by the author's photographs. Of course, you can't see all the signs to determine in the photo, but you can get a general idea of the habit, distribution and biology of the most notable species. I recommend it, and especially for beginners, in my opinion - an excellent publication for popularizing entomology and, in particular, sphecoid wasps.

V. L. Kazenas. Burrowing wasps (Type Arthropods, class Insects). Series "Animals of Kazakhstan in photos". Almaty, 2013, 160 p. (in Russian)
The book tells about interesting biological insects of the order Hymenoptera-burrowing wasps. These wasps are characterized by caring for their offspring, which consists of making a nest and preparing in separate cells of paralyzed or killed insects or spiders, feeding on which the wasp larvae develop. The book is illustrated with numerous color photographs. It is intended for schoolchildren-to expand their horizons-and for all nature lovers.
