About ants-respect, I personally am not ready for the content of these morally, although who knows??

And today I saw the first insect on the street since the end of January!!! Before that, even flies did not fly outside the window.
And today I'm walking along the road, snow is falling, the temperature is somewhere around + 2C... and then I see-someone is flying! And this someone turned out to be such a mosquito, this mosquito landed right on the snow, and when I started to catch it, I also tried to fly away!
Is it that, with an eye on the past frosts, the Verkhoyansk winter-hardy mosquitoes of Selitsa have already started? smile.gif

And then I come home.. I'm sitting next to my computer, talking .. and then comes the" light " of the monitor here is such a beetle )))) I barely caught it, because I was holding the phone with one hand smile.gif

Spring begins smile.gif

Medarhussa superba riders (6 males and 4 females)came out today
They came out of 1 birch trunk (4,5) meters, which I looked at in the spring, and then (24.01.2012) took to the apartment.

Here is such a beast:
http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=265852

In theory, perlata's Medarchussa should be released soon.
There were also a couple of beautiful weevil mosquitoes and beetles from the Cis genus.

PS. I will be in Moscow from March 16 to 18...I would like to meet with one of the entomologists.

And yesterday I saw a grain firefly in the kitchen by the waysmile.gif, but such a moth can be found less often here, a depressive, so to speak, kind, you need to put it in the home Red Book, and increase its biotopes (give a fur coat, what? ))) )

super!!! beer.gif contacts with cattle and other large animals sometimes end up even more deplorable. there was a case when my friend was bitten by a horse on the hood of a brand-new BMW, peeling off the paint lol.gif

Yes, and here the hood of the Dentist's car, the bull just licked it. (there is a picture of the hood skipped)
And I didn't have time to film how the entomolongs jumped into the car smile.gif

01.03.2012 17:50, AGG

there is a shot of a man getting out of a car to meet a bull-this is an extremely undesirable action-I spent a lot of time tending cows and I can say with complete confidence that it is better not to do this, even if they know you. what I licked is clearly visible. I've had cases where the entire forearm was clipped with a cow's tongue smile.gif
"And I didn't have time to film how the entomolongs jumped into the car smile.gif " in such cases, the camera's shutter speed lags behind the speed of "objects" lol.gif

What is not already posted here smile.gif
It's already the 8th, and we have only white flies flying on the street!
It turns out that after the snow mosquito that I found on February 21, I didn't see any more insects on the street! Even the flies on the balcony don't fly in the middle of the day...

08.03.2012 23:50, captolabrus

But dermestids and moths have a great time in the warmth and dryness of apartments lol.gif

09.03.2012 0:00, Hierophis

That's right here in the apartment-smile.gifthere are two kinds of moths flying around in full force for years, reaper ants are crawling over there, pchelozhuk has recently arrived again.
Maybe something at night to sit down to catch on the LED, on the UV and on the usual, to see which moth - clothes or grain on which diode will be better to fly? ))))))

Ta here in the apartment-years in full smile.gifMoth fly two types,

Yeah, today I also caught 2 grain moths in my kitchen with a net. It is difficult to spread only their reptiles ((

March 17, 2012. Crimea, the vicinity of Koktebel, the Tyullyuk tract. Sunny weather, wind about 3-4 m / s, temperature about +7.
In some places, crocus narrow-leaved blooms. There are very few animals, almost nothing. Several flies and spiders, lutka dim, staphylin, carabus and seven-point ladybirds were enjoying the sun. Flat moth, goldeneye, and bedbugs rested under the bark of the oaks.

We were walking with our youngest daughter in the city, near the Simferopol-Yalta bypass highway.Cretaceous slopes with stands of Crimean pine.At the top, yellow clay outcrops are visible on the surface.Sunny,+20.For such a plus, the activity of insects is very small.I observed several species of burrowing wasps,a couple of small black-bodied wasps, and one dorkash. On the other hand,Cicindela campestris ssp.pontica Fisch., 1825 flies are being hunted on the slopes.I caught these, took a good net.A cold snap is expected again in the coming days.

In the image IMG_0269.JPG firefly larva. Most likely Lampyris noctiluca (I don't know the Crimean ones).
You could have tried withdrawing it. I fed him earthworms once at our place. Got it?
UPD: Black heifer in the next photo Opatrum sabulosum (Linnaeus, 1761)

As for the cold snap, we'll see about that later!!! There is every chance that this time such a number will not pass, or rather, this cold snap will not reach here. Tired of it already!!

Today I also saw Crimean lizards, as well as already kravchiki dug out, medlyaki all sorts and in general chernotelki various in all climb.
