By JW I give in and apologize that butted, but it reminds me more aceris (if intermedia its subspecies) or auricoma: both if you believe the notorious Sinev should be there.

15.02.2014 13:17, guest: AlisaInAsia: comment on Question about caterpillars

I live in Asia. Although I do not see the need to study what is nearby. It is interesting to study what is interesting, not what is at hand.

14.02.2014 17:17, Hierophis: comment on Let's save the site "Beetles and coleopterologists"

Wild Yuri, I will certainly write something very inconvenient again right now.. but I've spent some time reading some of the articles on the website of this American society.. including how they understand entomology and what their society does. You know, they really do science there! Look, it's written here in the booklethttp://entsoc.org/discover-entomologyIt says that entomology is the science ...

14.02.2014 12:56, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #27446

When identifying by pic, mistakes can be done, all we're doing here is just share our suppositions about species, the more approximate the more similar and close in colour species are. I have a great respect to Matov, still identifying by pics gives just a supposition about species, and that's basically good. Moved. Doubts kept though :)

13.02.2014 0:32, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #16644

It seems to me, the definition of a photo anyone not offended when corrected, can be no doubt, there may be errors on either side, when there is a very good business disskusiya. and usually born truth (as it may be). Far East, for me, the dark forest, Kononenko and www.jpmoth.org to help me.:) And the definition of the photos ?, I justify all who do it, wrong everything. :) Need to be ...

12.02.2014 15:15, Hierophis: comment on The Goliath beetle.

Well, in general, if there are such tracks that can withstand -70, then what will prevent them from enduring-140? The whole problem is that, although theoretically speaking, freezing, acting as a "time machine", stops all processes, and therefore everything can be saved, but when defrosting and defrosting, which does not occur instantly in the case of freezing and too quickly in the case of ...

04.02.2014 21:29, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #12946

Shamil note: gallery More photos and new site for species growing in winter. The site lives and the people working on it. Much worse was if-he "died" before the summer :( A picture of habitats (as well as parasites) oh how needed if the site claims to be earnest and do not want to be just "show colored wings" of whom, and so the network is complete.

04.02.2014 0:23, Peter Khramov: comment on Adjustment of service comments in the Community

Now you may read the Community feed with all the comments save the service ones (service comments cover info of moving pics, formalization of features and some other moderators' comments plus users' confirmations). This adjustment can be quite handy for those who opt to read the whole community feed and thus may have some useful comments lost amidst the service ones. For switching between the ...
