Acts 2-day urine from a 5-liter bottle on dirt roads, better than sweet and wine, wasps and hornets do not nifiga.

All would be nothing but here the question arises, where to get urine? confused.gif

From childhood it was etched into my memory, we collected bottles in the forest after feasts, in our Soviet childhood they could be safely handed over to the store for a small amount of money, we were always surprised by the large number of beetles in bottles, the bottles were green, it was problematic to wash them, and the beetles caused disgust, and they were thrown on the spot with beetles, I just don't remember what the contents were, but most likely some Soviet portveshki (777, Aghdam, Dalar, 72) or wine "Bear" or "Bull's Blood", the other at that time was not delivered to the selmag.

And the cheapest composition without honey and beer is suitable for bait,

water+sugar+yeast?

I'm interested in katokals, they are just flying now...

To the collector: then go to the dacha for a net, or make an additional one.
Alexanoru: Of course it will! I checked it personally.

How much sugar to pour on a liter of water and how much dry yeast?

10.08.2011 21:02, Black Coleopter

The ratio of water and sugar is 1: 1 + 1 sachet of dry yeast. I recommend taking a larger container for fermentation, so to speak, with a gap, otherwise you never know what. wink.gif

today I went for a walk in the park, tapeworms just flew in clouds on each tree from 1 to 5 individuals, they seem to be nocturnal inhabitants? or not? on the parimanka did not fly(waited 2 hours) one managed to catch just covering the vessel, the rest even could not approach that the bait is bad?[water+part of the old bait(water, sugar, honey, jam, yeast)+sugar+a little yeast] - the smell seems to be strong. I decided to put a trap on the carabiners with the same mixture, do you think anyone will get caught confused.gif

What's the point of waiting 2 hours if they're flying around in clouds?
On the carabiner you need to put cups and pour vinegar or beer diluted with water.

In this case, it is best not to bother with the bait, but to remove it from the trunks simply by covering it with a stain: of course, do not make noise like an elephant, but be very careful and act calmly (butterflies are quite shy and nimble). By the way: they are very attracted to the most pross corners in cities. We have one behind the beer shop and it was in this corner that the wildest concentration of order ribbons was this summer. "Gourmets" they are, however shuffle.gif

The collector, hard to do ? This is exactly what I collect katokal for. Only for butterflies, you do not need to put paper.

Water and sugar (with honey)-20% solution!!!Everything else is a waste of money!Ferments depending on the temperature.Sourdough-raspberries or raisins unwashed.Plug it with a cotton plug. How plentifully the bubbles went-that's it!When already-a little bubbles go this is not the case. They ask about rhinoceros beetles...Rotted manure, sawdust, etc.- we take a shovel, dig, collect hefty larvae. In a container with this substrate, we display adult beetles. They ask about swallowtails-now there are a lot of caterpillars on umbrella ones.A lot of umbrella plants have lost their way because of the drought...And at dachas in vegetable gardens in the Moscow region, a bunch of swallowtail caterpillars on dill, carrots....Without any problems, bring out the perfect butterfly.Good luck!

It works! Great! Three-day braga (1l. water + 1kg. sugar + 10g. dry yeast).
I smeared 3 birch trunks in different places, 9 Catocala fraxini , 8 Catocala nupta, 8 Catocala pacta, 1 Catocala adultera arrived in an hour! True, the street was a week dry 30 degree heat (maybe that's why there are so many of them), while fishing from 24 to 1 o'clock in the morning it was +24. Today it got colder, I don't know if they will fly like this in cool weather?

Outside the city in the forest!

I collected karabuses this spring, and not only in the spring, in the city park under the sawn-down stumps, on the mountain", since the landscape is beautiful and the humidity is high, not a single one fell for the bait(

17.08.2011 20:11, ALEKSANDER

I live on the outskirts I have to stomp and stomp to the park I'd rather go to the region

21.08.2011 20:54, MIV

At the request of one of the forum participants, I made an attempt to fish in the okr. reserve “Pillars” of ermaki and loschnikovi Carabus. I usually use apple cider vinegar or beer as bait – I didn't notice much difference. In forest landscapes, C. regalis, aeruginosus, henningi, and schoencheri were successfully caught on these baits; in steppe landscapes, C. cribbelatus, kruberi, sibiricus, and Taphaxenus were successfully caught.
Ermaks practically ignore vinegar and beer, and prefer, so respected in the years of my youth, Port 777. C. loschnikovi are more refined: serve vintage Cahors.

I tried on Saturday to treat the local ground beetles with a week-old brew. They refused. There's one piece of harpalus in the three traps. But the snails were packed to the top of the sky... In general, teetotalers are one, ground beetles are local. :о)

28.08.2011 16:18, niyaz

And is it possible to make a trap for insects with your own hands so that they do not drown in the brew, but remain alive, and there is no need to constantly be near the trap? Otherwise, the sting kills insects that you already have in your collection and/or don't need.

getting into the "zhivolovki" remains alive "the strongest" the rest in the dust, PM either check 5 times a night, or-drowned

That's for sure. Elytra, legs, all in a heap. Yes, and half of the "strongest" with defects in the form of loose legs... It is better to check such traps twice a day, in the morning and in the evening (five times a night is too much). smile.gif However, this has its own advantage: "the strongest" will live to see you come even in two or three weeks...

and what does this "zhivolovka" look like?

30.08.2011 20:56, Alexandr Rusinov

My version of "zhivolovka" - a penicillin bubble is placed in a dug-in glass, into which a luring liquid is poured (I usually practice wine vinegar). Caught normally. The material is mostly intact. They rarely eat each other. I check it about once every 5 days.

Guys help!Ilyich's light bulb and the bucket under it!Nothing else is needed! Now fly-Hornets (50 pcs) - butterflies (10 pcs) - wasps (1 pc) - beetles (2-3 pcs)....But the main thing is Hornets-sometimes 60....They"bastards" bite the fruit, and a gang of wasps devour them! This year I discovered that they are coming to light! And on the wasp-baits with braga and vineyards saved! In the greenhouse, the first varieties ripened on August 15...On the street already sweet, elite-sweet and sour...this is rare. And the heat is still there.I remember the years when we went swimming in September...Warming is the mother of ichu. And still the Moscow region! There are no mushrooms.I went into the forest and ran away-a bunch of moose ticks! And the female swallowtail again infected all the dill-in an impudent way!Caught-showed home-released....Flies-I liked the garden-dill, parsley....I didn't want carrots...In the times.

08.09.2011 22:18, Sergey Rybalkin

Today I tried to attract moths to portveshok 777, on a business trip to the Arkhangelsk region, (smeared tree trunks), 2 Catocals of fraxini arrived. Butterflies drink better...The main thing is that it was 18%, in many ways!!!
